So I may as well start one! My freshly dipped 2003 350Z:
Not sure why everyone has a problem with plasti dip. It is just another way to modify your car. Isn't modifying cars why we are here ? Not my favorite color scheme but i still dig it...

Plasti dip goes in the same category as spinners, chrome hub caps, lambo doors, huge bodykits, etc.

Just because it is a mod doesn't mean it is a good thing. Mods can clearly worsen a car.

I like it, I did mine flat black a few months ago just to see how it would look. Did you do the painting?

Yep - mods can either get you fame or flame, some call it hate... I call it opinion.
OP's car has potential though but pastidip the whole car is no, no imo. BTW - what's the original color of the car? Silver?

touche.

Although comparing a small thing like eyelids to plastidipping an entire car the color of a smurfs ******** is kind of ridiculous. Not to mention 2 tone cars have been rice since the first Fast & Furious movie came out...

Is it just me or has the overall quality of this forum become nothing but newbies
or posts by inane Z owners that don't know how to search or want to.
I've noted that most of the "regulars" have dropped out of sight or jumped ship.
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!

Due to the price that the older models go for, this has become the next civic forum.

Children are on this forum now.

Thank you.
I am not a newb or a child but thanks for the judgement. I have had my Chrome silver Z since 2008 and although its original color is not completely terrible, its not my favorite and after 5 years its just plain boring to me now. By the way, I turned 40 in March.

That said, I am now a plastidip dealer and service center here in Western Canada. What better way to promote the product and service than to do my own car right? I thought of a bunch of different color combinations and came up with this on a bit of a whim. If I don't like it later on I can always peal it off and keep it silver or redo it a diferent color. I like the Matte because its diferent and very eye catching. Like it or not, its a bit of a head turner now.

For all the negative comments and judgements, you are all entitled to your opinions. It doesn't hurt me or detract from my original plan so that's ok. Just remember that there is always somebody out there that doesn't like you or your car - whether you like it or not.

Thanks for looking!

How so? Because I am not listening to what my grandmother told me when I was a little kid?

This is the internet. So somebody asks for an opinion about something, only the people that have nice things to say can post? Sounds pretty retarded to me. Sorry if people are butthurt for negative opinions from people that respond to a post that asks for all opinions.

I understand how a forum should operate but ignoring problems is not my style.

One day you "dippers" will look back in time at all your regrets and mistakes, then youll remember your plast dip adventures and think, "oh god why did I do that.."

BUT HEYYYYY IF YOU GET BORED IT COMES OFF AND YOU CAN GO BACK TO STOCK AGAIN RIGHT?!?!?! DDDDDDD

The problem with Plastdip isnt the dip itself, its all these kids that get a can to do something small, but end up dipping the rims, door handles, roof, stripes on hood, gas cap, "top of lip spoiler", etc etc. Then it just looks like crap.
