Default Turning Lights On Automatically?

Hi everybody, just joined, love my Z but 1 thing has been annoying the hell out of me. Is there a way to have the headlights running everytime the car is running without having to manually switch them on?

No.

Reading the owners manual would have given you the answer, on top of other simple questions you may have.

NO????? Don't Canadian cars have DRL?

OP: do a search for "DRL". There's a bunch of threads on the subject, i.e. ... https://my350z.com/forum/east-canada...-us-model.html

I'm 100% sure that this has never been done... or even discussed for that matter.

I like the effect I get with my xenons running in daylight, goes good with the pearl white exterior

Just turn em on bro. It's not that hard. If you do it enough times in a row, it'll just become a habit.

1) This is a weird question

2) Just don't turn the light stalk to the OFF position and the auto-off feature will turn them off after a few minutes when the car is powered down. When you start your car they will automatically turn back on since the stalk is still in the ON position

yes you can make convert the headlights to a DRL setup with a little wiring.

Just leave em in the on position at all times. Use search function for the DRL conversion.

Exactly what I was thinking. If you leave the switch on, the car shuts them off after about 2 minutes.

OP, don't be a douche and run your lights during the day because you think it looks cool. It doesn't.

Very douchey to drive around with your lights on just to look cool

It could be a safety thing too no? Being extra visible never hurts.
