Yes, there are a few of us out there with sunroofs.

As to cost, I got the dealer to trade out the billet grill they had installed for the sunroof. Dealer tried to add the billet grill to the invoice to the tune of $1200.

I really like the sunroof a lot. Hard to drive in a car without one now. The roof does make some noise when temps drop but coating the rubber seal with teflon oil solves most of this. I notice no handling problems due to a weaker chassis, although I don't track my Z.

I highly recommend one !

Since you are in O.C., I recommend Airstream in Huntington Beach. They did my DB Touring last Spring. Excellent work and substantially less than the Webasto factory (same sun roof too). I think it came out to around $700.

Does anyone know if you could install a moonroof? (the type of roof where it retracts back in the car, rather than sticking up like standard sunroofs?)

I wouldn't think you could be able to , due to the curve of our roof.

no you can not install a moonroof. you can only have the kind that slides out. as for my sunroof i've never had an issue at all. the amount of air flow to yourself while driving is very minimal due to the location of the hole. it's just nice to have fresh air and a view. as for noise i saw no change since i drive with my windows down regardless of speed or weather

Yes. A targa top is very possible and pre-orders are being taken right now. My car is the first to have it done and pics will be up in about 20 or 30 days now I believe (all my days run together but either way it shouldn't be long) so just search for it and there is a 9 page long thread regarding Targa tops on a 350z. BTW if you are serious about this then I highly recommend pre-ordering so that you can have it done for summer and assure you a place because they're getting a fair amount of orders I believe. 301-330-8835 and ask for Noah.

Likewise...I can't really say what I like most about my car but I think that most people who don't know about Z (know that they don't come with a Targa) will recognize are the wheels. I decided and got the 844Rs which with the kit and Targa will look absolutely killer. I think that I will have one of the top summer cars this year if I can get something going on in the interior (maybe I'll just wait for you to pass out Toby)lol j/p. BTW Toby send me some pics of your interior.
