I dont know what's done on that headlight but when I swapped from 05 to an 08 i did not have to modify anything. It was a direct install.

No you have to buy the 06+ harness. It's like $40 so you're still getting out ahead.

Go search up 06+ wiring headlight harness for the 350z. You'll find it for like $40.

You can splice it in to your harness and use the plugs off your headlight. Just make sure you do it correctly. If you do not know how then just buy a new harness

All I should need to splice is the high beam connection, correct?

Computer power harness.

This should be correct as I drew this on my knee back in 2006.

Figure out car side harness first, then trace each wire on the 06+ headlight. See which matches up, connect low beam car side to low HL, parking lights car side to HL etc. You can also make your own harness, just need a simple power harness off a computer. One of the plugs on the 06 will not be used, everything will work perfectly without it, even high beams.

This is why I started a separate thread. I don't have any 06 wiring whatsoever. I have blank housings. Will all of the wiring off of my 03 HID swap over to the back of the 06. Splice in the power from the halogen H7 connection to the solenoid and be good to go?

The harness might need to be adjusted or changed, I don't recall. If it fits then you are good to go. The high beam shields will retract once wired into the 03 harness. Just make sure everything is the correct corresponding function that matches the harness on the car side.

Yes exactly. FINALLY someone that understands what I'm trying to do. My only remaining question is if the plastic base plates on the turn signals and DRLs from an 03 will screw into an 06. If the bulbs will physically go into the new housing. The wiring really won't be a problem for me. It'll literally be tapping 2 wires for the high beam shutter, and 2 wires for the upper corner LEDs from the lower corner DRL that I don't intend to use.

If the bulbs don't fit, replacement bulbs can easily be sourced.
