FML I guess.... So far from what I can see it only lacks ill- so I might just use the older clockspring and ground it to the steering wheel. I really don't want to buy a $600+ sensor just for one wire.

OK so I successfully completed this, I used the old clockspring added the wires/pins to it for the controls and grounded the last wire to the inside of the steering wheel. I have no dimmer available to the buttons but ultimately to me it wasn't worth the additional cost and hassle. BTW if are trying to find pins for that connector you can source them from the steering wheel controls connector. I had an old set I bought to dissect and it worked out great, I took some pics of stuff if you need any.

Got a wild hair and started my flares to bumper this weekend. ..
These took major hacking bending and reshaping.
Finished placement for the fender vents
Rough base shape in tape, then glass, then filler to make the body lines..
The battelaero splitter kit is really nice.. And the side bars actually hold the bumper up in the back so there's no gaps in the flare.

Moving right along still..
I've now learned to fiberglass, so the sky is the limit.
Received my silver carbon screen bezel from Fab...
Shaved the coin tray and will send this to him next to be black carbon skinned, along with the e brake handle
Slathered on some fiberglass filler...
A little closer to what the finished shape would be..
Quick rear diffuser lock up:
Started trimming out the bumper for air ducting. The whole thing will have colorplast-cored carbon fiber ducts built for weight reduction and air flow. All diy.
Changing up to proven, cfd tested fender vents by professional awesome...
Final splitter design here. :
Picked up a thicker carbon piece from AIT. will sandwich it between two layers of dibond . Should wind up very strong.

Also plan to send Fab the top half of the 06 door panels for black carbon fiber... Whereas the rest of the handles and armrest and I set will all be in black Alcantara with black or red stitch... The overall material blend will be similar to this :

Car fired up beautifully. And it has an appointment at Dyno Comp next Monday for a 4 inch single stainless exhaust to be built.
I'm sending the shaved center console and e brake handle off to Fab for more black carbon fiber work this week as well.
Back over to Nissan this week to add the freon back in as well.

I'm digging the progress. Since you've learned to fiberglass, you may want to try your hand at laying up some pieces with carbon fiber. The process is fairly similar with the lay up and resin. I like the West System 105A epoxy resin with their 207 hardener for top coats since it's nice and thick and cures at room temperature. For structural pieces, I go with Adtech 820 epoxy with their 822 hardener which is much less viscous. Both are UV resistant. It does take some practice, but that's usually the case with most things.

Long story short...i turned 41 a week ago.. And I'm tired of wasting time building.. I want it done.
I'm going fkn nuts lol..
So expect to have the rear diffuser mounted next week.. Then I can rough out the fiberglass on the rear..
I am dropping the car off to have the molding and body work done by a pro on the front.. And my carbon signal lip kit arrived..
The splitter should be here soon.. And the the splitter diffuser as well.
Carbon will be done soon, and the tablet is on its way back.. It's go time.
