I ordered LED tail lights and while I wait for them to come in the mail, I am looking up how to install them. I found this video which makes it look easy enough . The only problem I see is how do I tap the wires into the black and red wires. Just to be clear, I did not order the exact headlights in the video but they have the same installation instructions. I searched the forum and couldn't find any that answered my specific question. Thanks!

 

go to auto parts store. The electrical section will have crimp style inline taps.

 

The only problem with these lights as i see it (unless my eyesight is going) is that most of the LED's appear to be white, rendering these lights illegal in a lot of country's. Like i say, i hope my eyesight is failing.

 

Put both taillights in the oven at 500 degrees for an indefinite amount of time

 

I didn't get these exact lights. The ones I got have red. They're different but the install is apparently the same

dang those spyder tails actually look pretty good..

 

What kind of thread locker do they use on those 10mm bolts that require a 3/4" ratchet?

Seems a bit overkill.

And those tails make it look like your car has a tumor. Kills the smooth body lines.

 

did you install these yet? any pictures on your car?

 

Mine are the spyrder, along with the headlights. When college stops taking all my money, ima get the stock ones and switch them.
