Freaking Lucky Bastard! Hot ride man. Definately very sexy. Coupla questions. So how much did EVERYTHING cost including kit w/ shipping, prep, paint, and install? Those rims are awesome. What kind are those?

yes and is it a replica or the real thing. mine is from japan and cost $4800 (w/ shipping and customs). painted was $1500 (3 day wait by MOB Works). Very nice looking car though.

ZRAY you seem to let everyone know that your kit is real and theres is a replica. I think your a little envious that they didn't waste 4800 on a real kit compared to 600. I know your gonna pull the mine is real and stronger and fits better and blah blah blah... but the 4200 dollars in difference would pay for a new kit over and over and over and over....... we know your kits real. Theres looks just as good.

And spending $4800 for even authentic INGS+1 half isn't what you wanna tell everyone since they retail for around $2000 from Bulletproof and the trunk spoiler and bigger wing attaches to it costs about another $1300, making total around $3300.
It only shows that you got ripped off.

1st off, i got the kit before bulletproof even had it. I got the kit way back in otober of last year. I had to wait 4.5 months to get the kit being that it was coming from overseas. As i look at itnow...ya, i may have paid a little bit more but thats ok. Its real, it has not fallen off and its strong as hell.

i'm sure that this replica kit although inferior to the original should still come out cheaper when it is all said and done. seems like reinforcing the fiberglass is the biggest issue. SixRB6 wrote the body shop said that the front lip had the only real fit problem. all in all this kit seems like a bargain if the purchaser can find a quality body shop that won't rip them a new @$$ hole. i am thinking of getting this one myself or maybe the initial d. i want something a bit more aggressive looking than my veilside ver 1.

first off, your car looks ****ing great!!
next, have you lowered your car yet? and what did you meen by that they molded the front lip? i thought that it was going to be all one pice, what part did they mold? you said the only big problem was the front lip was it really bad, like it didn't want to go at all? and did the side skirts give you any problems in fit(were they to short or did fit like the front lip)? one more thing, is that a replica cause it looks just like the real thing and you can't even tell that the front lip didn't go on to good, looks like it fit perfect.

OK everyone ....My kit is a replica I cant say one way or the other how it compares to the real thing cuz I have not seen one. The install paint and prep ran me $1,300 I am in westchester NY and these guys were VERY good!! What I mean by the front lip being molded I mean there is no line across the bumper like you would gat if you just put the piece on. Look closely at the front close up...

The rims are Volk GT-7s and the side skirts fit very well they said! The only problem was the front lip

Thanks for the compliments... Oh If anyone care the car was invited to the Hot Import Night show in Boston..I will be there July 17th I think it is

You have a good point. The only things that gets me about spending over 4800 dollars on a kit, is that for the same price, you can get a turbo or a supercharger. For me, performance is just as important as looks and it would haunt me knowing I paid that much. However, don't get me wrong, if price wasn't an issue, I'd select the authentic hands down.

dude just drop it...so you have everything, good for you. if you feel like 1000hp is out of line then let him be. if other forum members agree that he is being obnoxious, they'll let him know and he'll look like the bad guy. but every time you respond negativey you not only make it worse you look like the kid that if he doesn't get his way takes his ball and goes home. people only really hate on people such as yoursef that showboat their stuff. they are not hating on your car they are hating on your attitude.

i found nothing wrong with what 1000hp said. now that being said, can we keep this thread about the ings+1 replica kit.

lol..."don't hate"...yet he said something as stupid as "I have everything on my car that you wish you had"

We know you spent 4800.00 on a kit the first 24 times you mentioned it already....maybe we should make a sticky out of how much you spent on your Z. Not everyone has the fundage to pour into something as worthless as an automobile.
