Default Smoked Clear-sidemarkers?

Hey,

I was wondering if anyone has used Bat's overlays to smoke their clear-sidemarkers. I have the clear sidemarkers on my SuperBlack Z and was wondering what it would like with Bat's overlays on top of them. I went with the clear-sidemarkers because they matched my headlights more than dark orange sidemarkers, but i really like that tint on them. I was wondering if anyone could post pictures of "smoked clear-sidemarkers" on a Z. If you have a picture of them on black, even better. Thanks everyone.

Quite a few people have ordered them for their clear sidemarkers. Here they are on a g35.

That looks nice, do you have a picture from further back? One other question, the Z in this picture I'm going to try to post has black sidemarkers, do you think they did the smoked over clear-sidemarkers or ordered them black? Thanks Bat for your reply.

Hard to tell by the pics. Most likely smoked.

Well the ones I have on my car are the smoked ones from the dealer. Hope this helps you.

I appreciate the picture nismo33. I've have seen a few Z's that have those on their car. I like those and too almost bought those. Instead, like I said, I went with the clear to match closer. If you or anyone else has a picture of a Z with the smoke overlayed clear-sidemarkers or further advice, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Bat, if I tried to tint my clear-sidemarkers but didn't like it as much as I like the clear that I have right now, is it possible to peel the tinting off without any consequences? And, what percent tint do you have for the sidemarkers, 6/10, possibly more?? I'm trying to make the sidemarkers BLACK, not grey, think it's doable over my clear-sidemarkers? Thanks.

The tint peels right off with no problem....pretty easy to do the side markers too. For the $10 or whatever it is, I say you just give it a shot. You might be the first one to clear and then smoke your front lenses.

Ya, I need pics of my Smoked Sidemarker Overlay on Clear lenses. You can double the Overlay and get it twice as dark. I can give you a good deal on 2 sets if you wanna go that route.

Bat, hopefully I will be ordering a couple sets from you soon. I will e-mail within the next couple of days to work out the details but am interested in ordering two sets in case one tint doesn't make it dark enough on the clear-sidemarkers to match my SuperBlack Z. Just so you know, I have a digital camera and if and when I put the tints on, I can post pictures here on the forum and e-mail them to you to put on your website. I'll be in touch with you soon through e-mail. Thanks everyone for the support.
