Default how much for skyline tail light conversion?

Hey... I was looking through the 2007 GT-R forum pictures and I thought that it looked like a 350Z with skyline tail lights. Being that I have always been a huge fan of those tail lights, I started to think of what my car would look like with those tails. Here is the pic I am referring to:

Anyway, I was gonna take my car over to my guy that does my body work for me with this picture and ask him to give me an estimate, but I dont really have the cash to do it right now anyway. I thought that I would post on here about it and see if anyone knows around what price range I am looking at so I can start saving up for it.

Anyone got any ideas??

i dont know how much it would cost. also where would you place the lights? there's no real flat surface on the back except for maybe the rear bumper, but the lights would be really low and not look right.

thats exactly why there would be a lot of custom body work involved and Im thinkin that it would cost a couple grand at least. Im thinking that they would have to reshape the back end to be similar to the G35 Coupe shape for there to be enough foom for those tails.

Yeah, if you had a G35c to start with you'd be alot better off. Besides, the gt-r is based off a skyline (g35) anyways, not the Z... so the overall proportions of the car would be similar to the g35c as well.

But if you really want it on the Z no matter what, i'd have to say good luck, it'll be alot of work to flatten the hatch/rear end of the car and all.

R32 skyline's start at around 20 or 30k, you can probably pick up a R33 skyline for maybe 50k.

if you're thinking about molding, good luck.. you're taking a perfectly nice car and messing it up.
