Was it moved? Deleted? What are the new rules for the classifieds?

 

Try doing a search, there have been several recent threads on this. Also if you look at the top of this page where the drop down buttons are it will answer one your questions.

 

I'm looking for a specific thread titled "marketplace and sigs". It was here yesterday, you even replied to it. It's not here today.

If you try doing a search and find it, let me know.

 

That thread was in the site announcement area. Unfortunately it was deleted by a 'higher source'.....

Why does the thread need review? Just curious, seems strange a thread gets deleted.

because alot of people were starting to complain about the new classifieds rule (paying to use the classifieds)...

 

Could have had something to do with the actual level of feedback wanted (none to be exact) and the admin pretty much losing it and calling the members as lame as some of their posts. Handled quite well.

Some of you don't seem to get it. Bottom line is that this site doesn't have to provide classifieds for anyone, let alone non-paying members, and no matter how unpopular that is with the members, that be the way it is. Ditto on the signatures. To be brutally honest... no one cares what you think (get the hint already?), so stop thinking and stop coming here and/or go to another site.

If you want more than 1 line of text (I rather like mine as is thank you), then you'll have to pay $50 to get a few more lines ($30 Limited Introductory Rate). If you want to sell your old rims or parts, you'll have to pay $50 to do so ($30 HURRY OFFER EXPIRES SOON!!).

Does that suck? Who asked you? Let's review: No one cares if it does. Now that we've got that settled (pauses and looks at you with squinty eyes... then continues), you might as well list it on Ebay and get more money for it any how. Ebay is designed for buying and selling, and if you get scammed it's because you're a dumbass. I've bought over $20K of stuff this year from many, many people on Ebay this past year and haven't lost money or been scammed... not once.

Apparently scamming and being ripped off is a huge problem here requiring countless hours of investigation and followup. I personally have bought stuff from people here and haven't been ripped off but then again, I'm not a dumbass. Besides, no one asked me so it's irrelevant.

I'm sorry Chicken, you are exactly right.

I mean, what was I thinking of posting a "feedback suggestions" thread in the "feedback suggestions" section. That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

Would you suggest we have the attitude of the admins/moderators?

Maybe we should change the title "Feedback Suggestions" to "Feedback Suggestions (If you agree with everything that we do)


This may be off topic on my own thread but since "no one cares" it shouldn't matter.

Honestly, I don't remember alot of scamming going on until the admins made the rule that you couldn't reply in the classifieds section. Up until that point I think the forum did a good job of "policeing" itself. I mean just look at the thread of Rickdogg's. That's some real justice.

Thats just my honest opinion, if anyone cares

I'm still not sure what you're trying to say. Do you think we should delete the "Feedback/Suggestions" section? I thought that is what it's here for, feedback and suggestions.
