Just do a search for "jap scene" or "Jap imports" or anything related to cars and its jap this.com and jap that, jap car shows and on and on.
its just lingo. Look up the N word and i doubt you'll get similar results.
its not like anyone is running around here saying "those damn Japs, I hate japs, jappy jap jap japarooo" If anything, if not for your people we wouldnt be driving Z's and we would all be very sad.

Glad this ended on a good note. That said I love my Jap car and everything about it. The Jap care that went into the design, the Jap engineering, the Jap workers that painstakingly put it together with better quality than I've found here in GringoLandia. As a matter of fact, I probably would not have bought this car if it weren't made in Japan. I am predjudice. I'm for just about everything Japanese made.

Came in late to this thread, I myself and Mex/Irish so I am not biased, but I personally dont like the term "Jap" and never have, it sounds to derogatory...People that use it often are probably just ignorant to the fact others might find it offensive, there are alot of ignorant people in every race, we obviously know what the most popular term used now a days that used to be a racist slur. Oh well, I see *****h on this board all the time, maybe we have just gotten used to that one, its almost became a joke....

Ehh...you all can rant and rave about being politically correct all you want. I'll continue to use these so called "derogatory" terms. In my opinion, it's not derogatory unless you mean it to be. There's a big difference between saying "Hey nigger!" and "What up nigga?!" Same goes for the term Jap. If you're trying to insult someone by calling them a Jap then yes, it is derogatory. But being on a Z website referring to a car as Jap should in no way be found as derogatory...and if you take offense to something like that then maybe you need to be in a little bubble separating you from the rest of the world.
Edit: yes, I bypassed the filters to post this but only to make my point. lol
