i dont see what that has to do w/ anything.
there are thread TITLES much worse than baws in yo mouf.
would you like me to look in OT for them? if your so concerned about words now.

whats the difference? how is one right & one wrong?
why does taurren think his should stay?
if one was 'reported', and forced to be taken down, why shouldnt the other?
*edit* not that i personally see anything wrong w/ either. im in an office all by myself.

If you knew anything about cars or were remotely interested in coming to thse forums to discuss automotive topics, you might know that cars are typically a male dominated past time. Go to any meet, any show, any shop, any magazine section, and you'll see nothing but fast cars and scantily clad models on every peice of media you see.
You seem to forget that this is a CAR FORUM, not an OT playground. It's part of the culture. If you want to have a forum to talk about playing xbox video games then perhaps you should make your own with all the other pimple faced goons that have no interest in fast cars and hot women.
In case you haven't bothered to actually view the rules:
What you deem to be PG-rated, and what is actually PG-rated are two totally different things. I can understand nudity, but a picture of a girl in what amounts to a bra or bikini does NOT amount to NSFW.
You're trying to force your own bosses' discretions upon everyone else here in the forum.

My avatar was PG. It had no nudity, no sexual inuendo, and no "non-PG" related content. I could care less that you dislike it based on your job, but it was within guidelines of the TOU.
cour·te·ous [kur-tee-uhs]
–adjective having or showing good manners; polite.
You obviously have no desire to fall into that category, so be it. Enjoy your stay until the next time you're banned. Notice how I can navigate a sensible argument without namecalling and with rationality.

These are the same ones that have avatars saying "BAWLS IN YO MOUF" but feel they have the right to complain about a little cleavage in an avatar. Truly pathetic and selfish of these people. Thanks for contributing to the pussification of this forum. Im glad you weren't inconvenienced by having to disable avatars now.
I vote that since we've taken this into action, we disallow any photos that contain human skin, including those of models posing on cars (such as the ones in every car mag found on every magazine stand in america). These avatars are nothing worse.
In the meantime, I've changed my avatar to something your virgin eyes can handle. Hopefully you and your boss are not offended by animated Disney cleavage.

*edit* if youre in such a fowl mood why not just go around reporting everyone else? can you even read the text in my avatar youre referring to?

So people are getting all butt hurt over this whole avatar thing because they're at work and not on their own personal computers. Fine, I understand you're at work and trying to pass the time, whatever. But how 'bout instead of whining and rocking the boat (as we are doing right now), you just resolve the issue yourself and turn avatars off while your at work?

i agree but just because its a good idea to us doesnt mean the whole world is going to do it. just change your avatar & be done w/ it. why try to bring other people down w/ you? because this is what it sounds like..
'well, little timmy is doing it, why cant I?!?!?!! WAAAAAAAAAA!'
seriously. just because someone reported your avatar all of a sudden people in OT dont contribute & the forum is becoming 'pussified'?
come the **** on. someone didnt like your avatar & thats that. nothing more.

I might not have much saying so since I'm not a premier member, but why should we tell mods how to run their website? Even if you pay, you can still get banned. I can't really blame mods or anyone for that matter if I hapen to come across an avatar that's considered by my workplace as NSFW. Technically, I'm not suppose to be surfing while working... There are times the Mods don't have a chance to even look at avatars before we actually go in a thread. Maybe the solution should be, that all avatars should go through any Mod before posting?? My deuce pennies. I think some avatars are hilarious, so to turn them off would suck.
Love peace and chicken grease.

By viewing our forums you have agreed to the following rules:
1.) PORNOGRAPHY
This or any "not work safe" material is strictly prohibited. Posting, requesting, linking to, and/or trading of such will lead to being banned. There are also borderline sites and/or pictures which we choose to ban; if you post one of these, the post will be deleted, do not repeat or you will be banned. If you find a thread that contains pornography, it should be reported to one of the moderators by private messaging.

Of course it's about your DNF "crew" look at your avatars. You all identify yourselves by them, and spend however many hours making them. That's why you REFUSE to turn avatars off. Saying otherwise is just being blind to underlying facts. Your arguments are totally non-objective as they are totally self serving.
And yes, the majority of the off-topic post ***** crew could care less about automotive discussion. A large portion of them don't even own Z's.
I LOVE how people turn their own whining and bitching about rated-PG avatars and being called on it, into "I'm rubber, you're glue". I could care less about my own avatar, but it's the principal of people being overly sensitive, complaining, and getting their way that ticks me off. People like you are a BIG problem with this country today.
I bet you'd try to sue my350z if you got fired for web browsing at work, too...
