Need Exhaust recommendations from guys w/ Turbonetics S/T
Well, I ordered my Turbonetics S/T kit last night. I have the GReddy EVO2 exhaust, which I know is going to be a problem since the downpipe on the T-netics kit is designed to mate up with the single mid-pipe on the stock exhaust. I was wondering if anyone thought it would be possible to basically cut the GReddy system off at the front of the X pipe (which is really a double-Y pipe) and weld on the necessary fitting to mate up to the down pipe. Has anyone with the T-netics kit had to deal with customizing a fix for an aftermarket exhaust? I'm just trying to get some ideas now so that I'm not starting from scratch when the kit gets here. Thanks for any input!

Well ... this is gonna be a tough one for most to answer ... no one has it yet
besides those lucky few.
I know that MIAPLAYA is going to be getting a custom exhaust made here in San Diego, his plan is dual N1 cans in the SSR/SFR configuration ...
My advice would be to sell the EVO2 and use that $$ to get a custom made free flowing exhaust. Don't worry about noise ... the turbo setup has all but muted Rob's exhaust note on his Apexi WS1 exhuast as is.
edit - damn it Rob .. you beat me to it

As for exhaust yeah you could easily sell your Greddy and make enough to have SFR/SSR make you a nice y pipe back exhaust. I currently have the Apexi WS2 and it sounds KILLER with the turbo. That might be an option for you. You can pick up the same Apexi I have for about $589 from www350zonlinestore.com or spend another $200 and get a custom 3.5" y pipe back exhaust. My new exhaust is going to be 3" from the stock midpipe location back split to two 2.75" pipes feeding Apexi N1 cannisters..

I think of all the true-dual exhausts out there, you have the one that would be the easiest to modify (because of the X/dual Y-pipe configuration) - I think anyone that has dealt with any type of exhaust fabrication would easily be able to make you a Y-pipe adapter-type piece that would mate up to the downpipe and the GReddy after he hacks up the pipes... I really don't think it would be anything that would cost more than $100 or so...

I'm going to be running my fujitsubo exhaust to start, and try switching out my pro-1 to see if I get any gain. The fujitsubo is actually larger piping than the Turbonetics downpipe, so I don't think I will have any flow issues.
