Nope, not polished, but it's not expensive to have that done. Honestly, on my car the intercooler end tanks are pretty well hidden, so I'm not worried about that.

Boost is so addicting, isn't it.

Car looks great! Good luck and get some good pics of the car (and girls around the car).

kcobean-nice write up on the Turbonetics kit, makes me happy to hear you have nothing but good things to say about the product and customer service. Im really interested in Sharif's input seeing as how he is used to his TT. Can you post your a/f graph or tell us how "on" it was? Somebody told me that a Turbonetics Z around here was way richer (low 10's a/f) than what most are getting with the reflash- which is in the 11's.

Very impressive especially since it was over 90 degrees the day you ran. What was your 60ft and 1/8 trap and e.t.?

My initial dynos were at around 360RWHP, just like most people's. I'll get the car in for post ECU-learning dyno's sometime next week and post charts.
Sounds awesome, Kelly! looks good too... well, except for all those graphics, but that's the price you pay for being a sponsor-*****! be sure to post up some dynos after the final tune.

What kind of power are you dropping to hit those times? Were you running street rubber or drag slicks?

I am gonna take a wild stab in the dark that he did not have drag radials on his "street" 19's, lets just assume when he said street he meant the tires not the rims cause that only makse sence.

DOH! definitely a case of reading, but not comprehending there. Though, my other question is still valid, how much power on that Z?

My best dyno run at AAM was 370 rwhp and I dynoed a week later @ 390rwhp. I know the car is capable of better times than I am putting down now....I just have to learn it and stop granny shifting to get there.

I ran the 12.66 @ 114.99mph on TSW Thruxton 19" rims (245/35 19s up front & 285/35 19s in the rear.) Here are how my times laid out for that run...

R/T --- .770
60' --- 1.917
330 --- 5.460
1/8 --- 8.278
MPH -- 87.91
1000 -- 10.678
1/4 --- 12.667
MPH -- 114.99

Kcobean, Sweet ride! Gotta love the boost ah? Hey can we see some more pics of your car? Like maybe interior. And just a after thought, its hard to tell from the pics but it looks like you would be able to adjust the b.o.v. down some and you shouldn't have a problem with it sticking out the hood unless you like it that way. Either way the ride looks good!!

Thanks for the compliments.

I'll get some better pictures of the car up ASAP. The low lighting at HIN in combination with a camera on "night portrait" setting with no tripod just sucks. The slightest wiggle and you get massive blur.

Anyway, the BOV bolts directly to the flange on the boost-tube, so best I can tell, it's not possible to adjust it down. I'll take a better look tonight to be sure though.

You're having issues with fitment on that hood? That sucks, cause I'm thinking of ordering the same one.

Also, I think you can adjust the angle of that flange so the BoV sits at a more downward angle if need be.
