You guys are WIMPS~!
I tried on mine...however I don't have the crank signal option just ignition pulses or tach and it didn't work. Popped a code and God only knows what else.
Anyways, I can't BELIEVE you guys haven't tried. Such wimps.

What? All you do is enter the before cutoff point and new rev-limiter point and max out all the cell values for fuel. Or better yet, do like Greddy says and log up to the stock limiter and then just continue with the injection pulse width or duty cycle value, but watch your WB02 of course. Just take baby steps increasing the limiter 100rpms at a time.
IMO, VE is falling off by the stock limiter, so as long as you don't decrease pulse width, you won't go lean.

Ya I can't believe nobody's tried this on a VQ35 yet either! You only have to go 1 or 200 rpms past to know it works. It shouldn't hurt anything if done properly.
Like Ice I've tried it months ago on a VQ30 but it doesn't work without the crank input. Perhaps it uses it to know when to fire the injectors after the ECU cuts out.
C'mon... somebody try this!!

I set up the 2 step and it works great. Set it a 3k RPM to play with it to see if its good. Just used the speed signal wire Sharif used in his 2 step setup.
Having some funny results after hooking up the Auto AF setup.
One, I don't think its acivating, havn't seen a diffrence in the AF. Started at 14-15, nadda on the adjustment. Tryed many diffrent activation setups to try and activate it. Just inputed 12.5 across the AF adjust map. I see where the map trace shows the cells are activating. I'll dik with it a little more to see whats going on.
Two, if I accelerate quickly I get some really dicked up acceleration. It gets to about 3.5K-4.5K RPM then sputters like crazzy. It gets a couple of hundred past that then hit a hard acceleration. Its only under hard acceleration though, if I keep it arround 30-40% throttle its fine and accelerates as desired. If I'm at 4.5K RPM and I stomp it it accelerates just fine. So the trouble zone is 1K-3.5K hard acceleration.
Any suggestions. Been working on it for hours now and I'm stumped. I'll try more later to see if I can figure it out.
Thanks
Hawaii Mike

i am using the a/f target map and it seems to be working perfectly for me. i have had no time to hit a dyno yet, so my only adjustments have been scaling the actual injector pulse and cutting some of the maf signal. other than that i have made no adjustments in the ij. map, but my a/f is running right where it should as to what i inputted into the a/f target map. i am using from 1% throttle on up, and has been right on all the time.
one thing i am curious though, is there a map showing the adjustments being made or does it come up in the ij. map after awhile to see where it is adjusting the a/f and adding or subtracting fuel?

The INJ map should be written by the AF target parameters...you should see changes on your map.
Mayself and a few others have the AF target mapping working...so I know it does work.
NOTE: Its highly advisable to use the AF target feature just for tuning, and then turn off the feedback once done. I do not trust wideband o2 sensors included in most wideband kits...to dial in AF all the time. You could also use AF target tuning to periodically adjust your INJ table as the weather changes..for instance.
