Default Understand Fuel Pressure Gauges : Defi D/BF

I am trying to decide between the D-series Defi and the BF series Defi gauges. One of my main concerns is simply being able to comprehend what the gauges are telling me. I am used to PSI readings, as my last car had a PSI Boost gauge and PSI Fuel Pressure gauge. I think I have come to grips with the BAR-PSI conversion, but I don't understand what I think is a "kPa" to PSI conversion?

Attached is a picture of the two gauges in question. On the right is the gauge that I am in intelligent enough to comprehend and on the left is the one that is boggling me.

Thanks.

Okay, so on that Fuel Pressure gauge, where exactly would 65psi sit? Around 4.55?

PSI x .07 = Readout on Fuel Pressure Gauge?

just about. my 14.7 was rounding - here's a site with more accurate conversion info:

http://www.akronbrass.com/pages/products/metric.htm

according to my math, 65 psi == 4.48175 bar

I know you're showing the Fuel Pressure Gauges, but just as a FYI, the mechanical boost gauge by DEFI has been discontinued.

If you get the D-Series gauges (the ones on the right) and you want a matching boost gauge, you'd better find someone that has the color gauge and bezel you want in stock.

If a supplier tells you that they have a shipment coming in... tell them thank you and call someone else.

I think, for that matter, I will just got with the BF series and call it good. Tig488 is selling his double pod, so that saves me some work having my interior shop shave one of the pods off before they wrap it in suede. I am having our guy look up pricing and availabilty for the BF gauges, may just go with intense power if he doesn't come back with anything too promising.

If all works out in my favor, I could have the kit at my door, with all of these parts by next friday and do the install next weekend..... we shall see.
