Default Pulling the motor tonight have a question, progress pics

Ok Im all ready to go! Just have to unbolt the tranny and pull her out! I have a question for those of you who left the tranny in. I see a wire loom going to a plug on the tranny. Ive tried to get to the plug on the tranny but its pretty far up under it. How did you guys remove this plug?

You have to get it from underneath. The one clip that is on the top side of the tranny is a PITA but you need to get it.We have done alot of cars this way, the G35 is a bit harder to access the clip..Keep at it youll get it.

How about you just pull the tranny with the motor? It takes about 4 hours to pull the tranny and motor at the same time, and there isn't anything difficult about it. This is the easiest car to work on.... (that I have ever worked on)

Thats what my buddy wants to do but from other pics Ive seen it looks pretty basic to leave the tranny in. Just one more thing I dont have to pull.

It's the lining up of the tranny to the engine that is a PITA when putting it back in. Personally I would remove the motor and tranny as one assembly.

Are you removing the whole engine harness with the engine, cause that is alot easier too if you aren't doing that.

just wondering if you had access lo a lift? because i pull both the motor and tranny together out from the bottom. and it usually takes 2.5 or 3 hours with the turbos. the harness comes out with it.
