HAS ANY ONE INSTALLED AN APS SINGLE TURBO KIT TO AN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION 350Z OR EVEN A TURBONETICS KIT FOR THAT MATTER BECAUSE I HAVE READ ON MANY INTERNET SITES THAT THESE 2 BRANDS SUPPORT AUTO TRANSMISSION IS IT TRUE CAN ANY ONE HELP OR SUGGEST ON WAT TO INSTALL TO MY AUTO TRANNY

 

I am running the APS single turbo with no additions(5AT)......it can be done. However you should take into consideration your driving style, local temperatures etc.

-Valve Body Upgrade
-Torque Converter Upgrade
-Transmission fluid cooler

 

which brand torque convertor do u suggest man and which brand transmission cooler u suggest and is the valve body upgrade necessary cant have it done in my country which sites do u recomend to buy these products online est cost for these upgrades except for valve body upgrade do u have these upgrades in beauty 350z common problems u normally have with the turbo how much horse power would it give

 

what is the aps tall boy plenum wats it used for where can i get it from for how much

 

I think a valve body is need more than any thing , then a cooler and lastly a trq. converter

 

I'll let you use the search function to research the various torque converters, tranny coolers, plenums and valve bodies used by forum members.......there have been plenty of discussions onthe varous types used along with benefits and disadvantages of each......

will you do your own install or have you decided on a shop to do it for you?

 

have u had the valve body up grade done to ur transmission. do u drive ur car in triptonic mode or inm d mode when u want to enjoy ur turbo how much did u buy the kit for do u face problems with the turbo.thanx man

 

I have not done any tranny upgrades as of yet......right now I do not see any indication that I need to (based on my driving style).....mine is a week-end/"Ming-Toy".

I use "tiptronic" mode in the city, or any time I go from stop light to stop light......as soon as I hit the access ramp to the expressway, I am in auto....shifts are fast, tight and controlled......

No problems with the turbo......flawless performance so far. I got my kit through a group buy, so I am not the person to ask about price.....plenty of good bargains around.......FIND A TUNER to do your install!
