To all the owners of the SGP VB.
I am about to send my VB to SGP, but first I like to make sure that the SGP VB upgrade really take care the REV LIMITER problem with out reflash to bump the rev limiter. All advices will be higly appreciated.
Thank you
Cesar

I would check with SGP. Like "booger", mine has already been increased to 7200. However, I think their VB upgrade is improving the shift delay within the AT and not the REV LIMIT within the ECU. You are probably looking at pulling your ECU and sending it to TS and getting the "L" Flash. Perhaps SGP has the capability to perform ECU Flash.
it's not going to do that because thats not what it's ment to do. you have to raise your revlimiter and it still will do it from time to time. so you really have to just switch to manual mode when you plan to drive hard! trust me you will want to anyway. simply because you can stay in the gear as long as you want that way.

Good question! It is that "turn around time" that is holding up my decision. I believe in another post to a previous thread I saw 5 days. Then throw in shipping and you are somewhere in the 7-9 day timeframe. If your car is your daily driver, do you borrow, rent or go on vacation? Perhaps they will eventually get to a point where they can offer a Core Program.
From the info posted on the SGP website it looks like 10 days. Also looks like they recommend the SGP torque converter and tranny cooler upgrades with this mod due to higher temps.
Well they had my VB for 5 weeks . Thier web site says 4 to 10 days . He may have put others in front of my VB because he had my block at the same time and knew I didnt need it till the block was done
