How much for a motor swap?
Ok guys I am purchasing a built longblock and I wanted to know how much it would cost to do a swap. also where can I do it. This is what the longblock is coming with:
Arias 9.0:1 Pistons
Pauter Rods
ARP Head Studs
ARP Main bolts
RC 650cc Injectors already wired in and installed
OEM Fuel Rail
OEM Intake Manifold and Plenum
It doesnt have cams so I was wondering if its safe to hit 550whp with the stock cams?
I am also having Tubonetics upgrade my turbo to a T66
Arias 9.0:1 Pistons
Pauter Rods
ARP Head Studs
ARP Main bolts
RC 650cc Injectors already wired in and installed
OEM Fuel Rail
OEM Intake Manifold and Plenum

You can check with Danzio Performance in Lake Elsinore if you want to use a local shop... www.danzioperformance.com

I can't believe you're spending all that money on the engine and not doing cams if you're going for such huge power. Seems like it'd be worth it in the long run to just save the extra $ for them now since it'd be cheaper to have them put in when the engine is being built

The reason for this is the engine is already built with what I posted but it has stock cams. If it was being built I would add the cams. But since its already built it would have to be ripped apart to install the cams

If the engine is still out, most of the work is done.. u can install cams quickly once the engine is out. I'd suggest doing cams so you won't loose massiave power after 5500rpm, especially with a single big turbo which makes power after 4500RPM.
