I have the vortech and I read up on the rattle and had my idle raised to 900 (dealer) and I have no rattles watso ever. The bypass is abit loud and sometimes annoying around town but some ppl like it and some ppl (like myself) dont so I purchased the filter and now I can hear my exhaust, lol. Also, have fun taking your turbo kit off and on every 2 yrs
I have to pass smog every year. 20 000 miles, 17 000 on Vortech. Changing pulleys and cats this weekend dyno tune next week sometime. Should get about 380-400whp. Smog legal? Technically not, but it'll pass.

Of course if I couln't pull four bolts and a couple of hose clamps to remove the blower I'd probably just hang myself. Kidding. If I was a lawyer instead of a factory worker, and didn't know how to work on cars. I'd just buy a turbo Porsche and call it a day. Cheers!

it's probalby like a 1 out of 100 chance the kit would have a bad blower like that right out of the box
