Default Procharger Lovers / Haters....... Englishtown 3-5-06

Today i called my friend up and he was on his way to Englishtown.....I originally wanted to go cause i seen people on here talking about it.... He told me to come...... But I wasn't sure if i wanted to go and run. Im thinking to myself, "its like 40 degrees and i have the worst tires in the world. All these procharger people on my350z.com run around 13.00 in good conditions, ok maybe 12.8. I need every advantage in the world. 40 degrees is no advantage with my tire setup. I've raced some people around my way, and everyone seems to think I will be lucky to run 12.8, they are better known as haters..... **** em'! i heard there were racing brakets, so if i were to go i would have went in the 13.00 braket and tried to run a 13.00 since that was def a possibility. Any ways i got there to late, and was only able to get 2 runs...... Last year i had perelli p- zeros on 20" sterns and ran a 14.3 with stock setup, everytime i went over 2500rpm's i would spin like hell..... so i approached the first run thinking im going to try and launch around 2000rpm. I did, i got a descent launch and wound up running a 12.818 at 111.37. i was happy and excited since i thought i was gonna run around a 13 flat...... so the next and final run i decide to try and shoot for launching around 3000 rpm's...... i launched just under 3000rpms, and killed it, i had a perfect launch no slipping at all. I WOUND UP RUNNING A 12.567 AT 112.01 WITH A 2.049 60ft. I have now come to the conclusion that i will def run a 12.3 with the same tire setup no problem, i no i can get a better launch no doubt about it..... i will shoot for 12.3 and i will get it, that def. !!!!!! i only no of one other person who ran a 12.3 and he had an automatic that shifted at 7500rpms...... My car and forced induction is not yet complete, my car bog's a little bit around 6900 rpms because my injectors are maxed out..... Between me and my car it weighed out at over 3500 lbs. i think 3560 to be exact. i have a heavy *** system.

setup:
ATI PROCHARGER
7LB. PULLEY
AAM REFLASH
AAM INTAKE PLENUM SPACER
BORLA TRU-DUAL
PRO-1 TEST PIPES
363 whp
306lbs of tq.

Nice times and traps for your power level. That's some pretty decent driving. Track must have been really sticky. I have always heard that englishtown is a quick track.

honestly last year when i went to the track it was horrible there, traction was sh*t....... this year iroll up and the first thing i hear on the intercom is hows that launch for street tires.... they re-did the start of the track and its good....... i think i drove very well and im def pleased with my times, i am gonna go back and im pretty much positive that i will def run low 12's with the same setup....... i have sumitomo tires..... exactly i no you've never heard of them......

i'll tell u n e info u need...... englishtown pulled a 180, last year the track was ****, i could launch my car much better on the street....... they re-did the start line and it is awesome....... i love my procharger, everyone says they have prob. with tech..... i dont no, they were helpfull when i called, but thats me...... the only problems i had was with the belts and for like 4 months now i haven't had one problem. i think the thing with procharger is that u need a good tune job and your golden...... that pretty much it..... im going to run a 9lb pulley this spring, upgrade to 440 injectors (which are sitting in my room), a fuel pump and a fuel return system...... figure to be running 430 whp, and 350 lbs of tq....... and then im positive i will hit high 11's....... im gonna run low 12's next time i go to englishtown.....
