There are way too many liability concerns controlling DBW.

so if paying 3k for this, wouldn't it be easy to just include something like a Q45 TB conversion kit?

I knew it'd be around 2k, but 3k seems like it's gonna kill itself from my list on the big build.

Can you make a lap top interface that shows when the intake manifold is about to blow up like the fast and the furious? Some alarms would be nice too, right before the aluminum plates start flying off the car from the rivets coming off....

It's(2step) really more of building boost while their is no load on the motor(for turbo cars that is). For your nitrous car it isn't going to help much.

Thanks for the info. What does a trans brake do again? On a different note, it's great to see different ECU's at different price levels. EU, UTEC, AEM and FCON. There is now a flavor for everyone. I take it the AEM is having no problem reading and deciphering the stock knock sensor?

This is awesome news! Which box are you using (1101)? Would it be possible to just buy the wire harness?

transbrake is what you use on an auto trans car. 2 step on a manual trans. go back and read in the description of how the two step works again.... think you missed that part...

Think about it.... AEM EMS's like what I am using sell discounted on the net for about $1750. Then I have to modify them internally to work with the 350Z electronics.

The connectors to make the harness cost me $325. Uego wide band gauges are $300+, 5 bar map sensors with harness is $140, Water temp and Air temp with harnes and bungs are $130. Then it takes me 5 hours to build and test the harness......

$3000 is not unreasonable!

$3K sounds like a good deal to me, if it can do everything.

What resolution are the maps? Does it affect any other systems like VDC, climate control, etc...

Will is work with the revup's intake and exhaust VTC systems?

I asked before to no avail. Can this be purchased without certain components such as the UEGO and have the cost reduced??

so you're basically saying this is NOT directly from AEM, you're buying a universal EMS and making it work for the Z then?
