Default How much have you spent on repairs since having FI?

Hi

Please post how much you have spent on repairs that were caused or happened since having FI. If you would like, please post how much it cost or what went wrong. (Please do not argue with each other, just post what has gone wrong since gone to FI).

example:
Clutches, engine rebuild (blown), etc. etc. etc.

Thanks

Mahdi

Probably about $1000, Ive had to replace my belts and 3 thermostats. On the kit itself nothing. I dont think this is bad for 27000 miles after putting on the TT.

$1000 should get you a lot more than belts and 3 thermostats

oh, the labor on the thermostat I can see being high - yeah that sounds right. I was thinking the belts aren't all that much in labor to replace

do you think the thermostat issue had anything to do with the APS turbos being watercooled? Or just luck of the draw?

BTW, everyone in this thread with FI should be saying how long they've had their kit. Also don't forget changing oil more often etc - that counts for something - and burning thru tires a little more often
