Man I have a very similar setup and the last two blown motors have got me kind of worried. I guess I too will have to build it soon but I don't want my stock block damaged so I can use it for the build. Good luck with your new project. Im sure you will come back stronger than ever after the build.

good luck with the build alberto. You and your car taught me a lot of things. I know you wont dissapoint with your next stage.

Are you looking into what caused this anymore though? Possibly crap gas, or something like that. I would always have that in the back of my mind until i knew what it was.

Sorry to hear about your loss...

Let me know if we can help in any way! We can ship a motor anywhere and have built motors ready to go...

Goodluck.

This is very possible, Ill know more hopefully when it gets taken apart. My guess is that its a rod, although my pistons may be damaged as well.

Daaaanm bert, that sucks big time, but its an excuse to go big and do it right, so thats ok i guess, I am trying to be easy on my car, I dont need to be hitting redline on the street to have fun(or smash on people), **** it gets up to speed so fast now I barely get to hit more then a few lbs of boost lol. I definitely want to build my motor before I am a victim as well....Good luck and cant wait to hear about your built motor runs!!!

Yeah the bright side is it will be faster when its back. Later after I do the block Ill do the turbo upgrade, obviously I cant afford sleeved block, cams, labor, tuning, and turbo, FMIC upgareds all now, so Im doing the block, cams/valvetrain. Hopefully Ill have it back in time to enjoy the end of summer....

So you pulled the llogs from the utec and everything looked fine?

I feel sorry for you, hopfully you have enough money for a new engine. This is why I have Greddy kit sitting in the garage, I dont have enough money to fix the car if it blows.
