i dunno if he deserved being banned, as much stupid as he might have been on his cheapness(maybe), he never insulted or anything so i dunno if that ammounts to enoguh reason to have someone being banned...
sounds a bit harsh..
I do agree the pricess seem abit high, and i woudl think with the ammount of ecperience you guys have, you could do this installs quicker and good so the savings on time of install shouldn't be more than other competitor shops. Makes no sense.
In any case it is a shame someone got banned over this. I hope you guys do better in the future at customer service(sounds like its a step there). It is just as important as knowledge, producsts(which AAm does have some nice ones) and pricing(should be fair).

So what would the price have been without the "HOOK UP"? Maybe you wanna lick their A$$ for whatever reason and that's fine, obviously that's your thing... I don't like being screwed, I expect to be treated with a certain amount of respect, not taken for all the money they can get....

Osix was harsh, not the way to solicite help !!!

i agree mike was a little harsh but i do not think he should be banned.he was voiceing his displeasure with the treatment he received and what he thought was price gouging on thier part against him.i personally know mike and he is a very easy going guy unless something gets under his skin,i think aam did that and i know he did his research on the prices.i mean hell he had enough resources in which to ask being from the mid atlantic area.lift the ban.

the first step to lifting the ban would be an email appology to the moderator he disrespected.. and if said moderator feels the need to have him brought back.. then so be it

people dont realize that it takes money to safely build up a FI car. honestly these people who gripe should never go FI, sell their z's, and go back to the mustangs and corvettes they came from - those are alot cheaper to make faster. enjoy your government cheese

Please note that no one at AAM has ever requested to get a member banned.
The moderator mad the decision on his own.

I was going to post a long detailed response but then i realized arguing on a forum is stupid b/c everything thinks they are an expert.

Let me clear the record here:

1. Moderators cannot ban members. At least not non-super-moderators like me.

2. I did not ask for the OP to be banned.

3. I do not know WHY he got banned specifically, as it has not been discussed in the moderator forum.

I think Mike was not banned because of AAM.
It was regarding his one of the sale threads I believe.

Im not getting in this, or voicing my opinion on this whole situation. I will say though-Mike wasnt banned because of this thread, it was because of some PM's back and forth one night last weekend where he was tanked and prolly shouldnt have been on the boards lol.

Thats too bad.

I didn't think it was this thread. It really wasn't that bad. I know I've seen other threads that were much worse.

It was completely separate incident that led to his ban and had nothing to do with this thread in any way.
