TT vs Stillen SC; upkeep, headaches, maintenance...worth it?

If I get this greddy twin kit for 4K then I will go greddy out of the box type of set up. Still more moving parts, more possibilities of problems.
I still consider myself motorhead redneck from IL, although Im African American, so the idea of the roots SC just seems natural for my blood. I just checked in with a company that said that a Single Snail TN installed/tuned is just over 6K (but I would lose/waist my Stillen Y pipe). I am 95% that Stillen will get my money, and I will just install it myself. (unless a whole-seller offers to install it for what retail cost).

Name a car under $50K that has 400BHP? If it does, its over 4300lbs! Thats enough for me to kit some but and half fun running along 150K exotics. Remember I am a light to light type of guy....rarely does my car see over 120.

Try Les Stanford if you want a Vette for under $50k. I think they have a white one for $46k with the Z51 suspension package.
Enough about Vettes. I would rather have a FI 350Z (or G35 in our case).

C6 Vette 400hp 3250lbs lists for under $50K
C5 Z06 under $50K NEW and 400hp
New Shelby Mustang 500hp 3900lbs....want me to keep going??
Stillen SC are based on the roots design, the impellers are different from the centrifugal superchargers.
I find the centrifugal superchargers more efficient, although the roots design does generate more hp at low rpm, city driving.
The other problem with the roots version is the location of the system, which sits right on top of the engine and more prone to heat.
All in all, I still find that the twin turbos are the best FI systems for hp and torque; considering that all turbos today do not have issues with turbo lag.
In my opinion Jim Wolf has the best Twin Turbos that you can find on the market, today.

News flash, just heard some info that we all may need to research for acuracy and effectiveness. The rev-up engine are popping due to the factory ecu advancing timing after a certain rpm or speed. I dont know how true this is, but serveral shops (eastcoast) have reported engines (rev-up) popping at very low boost! This is worth digging into. Some vendors are not supporting FI on the 2005-2006. I did read an article that says the new 2007 holds power until 30mph. I would assume an advance in timing would aid the 10-15hp difference? I thought piggy backs would take over the factory ecu, not just under WOT? If not, when letting off the gas, the factory ecu could be causing the damage (detonation), not necessarily bad tunes? BERT you heard anything on this??

I run GTO's now, not FI. 6.0 liters!!!
You cant find a vette for under 50K.
The Shelby is a slowboat.
Let me refraise....
Find a car under 50K that can run with an FI 350Z or G35? The Z06's are going for 60K is most areas, I dont know where you all shop, but please send me the link, Id buy a Z06 for 50K.

The 6-speed auto? Have you driven it? I've been wondering how quickly it shifts using the paddles. I would assume it shifts pretty well after seeing some 1/4 runs for them.
By the way, your avatar rocks. I miss that show. Mencia is pretty cool I guess.

The shifts are a bit slow, however they are working on a tranny ecu flash (yes the tranny has a chip), that will allow faster shift and also a diff gear change. Right now you cannot change the gear ratios or anything, so even buying tires you must be factory or the engine ecu will not work with the tranny ecu.
