It is not uncommon for the temp to rise during dyno. sessions, as the cooling process is not at its optimum; as you know that airflow is limited on a dyno, compared to airflow when driving. Stop and permit the engine to cool before making each pull. Never continue pulling when you notice the temp increasing to warning levels.

What is your ambient temp and humidity level? I would suggest doing the dyno in the evenings when your ambient temp is lower. My brother just arrived from Abu Dhabi and he tells me that this is the coolest period of the year. He also tells me that there are many 350Z/s in Abu Dhabi.

Check the oil dip stick to see if there is any coolant leakage, if you are concerned about the mentioned gasket issue. No greenish froth and coolant smells and/or burning smell on your dip stick, you probably fine in that area.

Always, watch the temp, ventilation and have sufficient cooling during dyno secessions; the car is subjected to extreme un-natural loads during dyno sessions. More cars have blown engines on dynos than on the roads.

Obviously, make certain that your cooling system is operating at its peak before placing it on a dyno., you have quite a few good suggestions, up there, on bleeding your cooling system.

Good Luck

G

Thanks silver nismo...it seemed to be air in the system. the car is running fine now. overheating a lil bit when running her hard and for long time, then returns to normal level.

it would be great if you can find me the link for the water cooling mod you're talking about. I'd like to take a look on how it works and might be helpfull for anyone that might come thru this thread!
