New vortech dyno charts at GTM 477.8 whp 383 tq
Booger your argument is stupid as fawk. If you cant go more than 1/3 throttle with 420whp and an auto your set-up either had $hitty tires, it was a slippery surface, you have bad rear negative camber or all of the above. I could dead hook in the summer with 400/400 in 1st gear with my TN kit and KDW2's you think Im lying as well? What a ridiculous argument. Sentry enjoy the car, dyno it again because you want to, not to prove anything to anybody. BTW-Id like to see some 3rd and 4th gear pull vids...

thanks man, I'll make more videos when the bearings are all fixed
and let my wife video the car so I can focus on driving (lol she nearly killed me when she found out I made that traction video by myself)
I'm still trying to figure out what to do about the battery cut off switch so I can take it on the track.
I'm mainly dynoing again because I'm curious to compare my new tune to how it ran before and see what dyno-dynamics numbers I pull and also since I have such a history of pulls on their dyno to directly compare to. Also, the people at Dynocomp are cool guys and would like to see what numbers my car does now that it's working right.
Bottom line is I'm happy with the car for what it is and I don't think anything will really satisfy the disbelievers.
Though I have no doubt Booger's t-trim comes on a lot harder than my S-trim blower, maybe that has something to do with his lack of traction too, I dunno.
He has the potential to make a lot more power than me and I'm pretty sure everyone knows it. I can't do much more than I have now being on the stock bottom end. The only dyno I've ever seen from him though is from a long time ago that was small and blurry. Mustang dynos can sometimes be a little tricky to judge compared to others, but it seems like he has a similar setup to the D-sport car which we've seen their dynochart from GTM at this point in this thread https://my350z.com/forum/showpost.ph...&postcount=140
seems odd that there's so many threads with GTM tuned cars and no one has ever put those cars into question except mine. I mean, just how likely do people think Sam would be willing to put his shop's reputation at risk for the sheer sake of artificially boosting my numbers? Does that really seem feasible he'd do that? If Booger or anyone has a huge problem that the Fcon logged 11 psi in CA, maybe the boost reads differently on a dyno's boost sensor or my own boost gauge. I haven't looked at my boost gauge right at redline yet. I'll save that for the dyno since I like to keep my eyes on the road when I'm driving
If I remember right, Booger is running nismo cams, crawford cats and stillen exhaust which are more restrictive than my JWT cams, 2.5 inch AAM cats, and dual 2.5 inch APS exhaust with X-pipe, yet he's he's trying to cram a much more massive amount of air into the engine than I am. Maybe if his exhaust was bigger it would help lower that huge 21.7 psi boost pressure while improving airflow and hp to help make it more manageable with the SS box?? - just an idea anyway

Alberto...yes ..I think Sentry here , PMed you to get you to post some lie , if you couldnt get the tires to spin in 1st gear at WOT...you too didnt have what you thought you did . Your trying to tell us that when you were in 1st gear and then stomped on it ..... you HOOKED...lol....OK ! Im not talking at the track with 10 gallons of VHT dumped on it....LOL
He is going though alot of chit to try to make his self look good...lol
This thread is funnier than chit...look at all the trouble Sentry is going through to try to prove a point and to prove what he thinks he has...lol
Alberto....stop trying to pass off that you could hook up in 1st gear and WOT...lol...maybe at 5500rpm and 40 mph and then went WOT in 1st....You wouldnt even need DR or slicks at the track and should be able to pull a 1.7 60ft with STREET TIRES if you could hook in 1st and WOT..lol This thread sure is hilarious !!!!!

Booger...just let it die dude. So he doesnt have the power he says he has...big deal atleast he is happy. Your almost to the point you sound jealous. At first I agree'd on some points on you calling him out but now your like a hound dog.

I curious, exactly what power do the nay-sayers think my car has?
I have:
2.87 pulley vortech with CAI
JWT cams
SSV with thermogasket
350evo throttle body
HPC coated crawford headers
2.5 inch AAM cats
APS dual 2.5 inch exhaust with X-pipe
Fcon Vpro
race gas
water injection, 40 degree intake temps
Sam increased timing on my tune
HKS ignition amp
what exactly whp does everyone think I have with those mods sitting on my plate?
for reference I used to not have traction in 1st gear in the summer when I was doing 390whp at dynocomp on their dyno. Then I changed my rear tires to R-compounds and did have traction in 1st gear. This was in 100-110 degree heat and my rear camber was way out of spec.
Later in the winter I changed a few things and made more power doing my 420whp runs on dyno-dynamics and then I lost traction in 1st gear. It was around 70 degrees outside or so
later in march I had my rear camber adjusted to -1.6 degrees instead of -2.5 left and -3 right or whatever it was, went to solid diff mounts and JIC traction and camber rods with SPC bolts. My traction improved, but I wasn't able to hook 2nd gear in 55 degree weather at night, but wasn't able to redling my car anyway and stopped at 5000-5500 rpms because above that and my tune and fuel pressure were all over the place because I fixed the belt slip issue on my car so the vortech would make full boost to redline
I went to CA and had all the HKS Fcon put in and fixed the fuel pressure issue. When I drove the car, it felt stronger all over the board and Sam's dyno showed that I gained about 20 tq for most of the powerband and then a whole lot more above 5500 rpms. Outside was 85 degrees and I had full traction in 2nd gear, but not in 1st
Booger said I didn't have traction in 2nd gear
I said I did
he said I didn't because his car didn't
I posted a video of running in 2nd gear and it appears to me that I actually do have traction
he agreed that I had traction in 2nd gear and reached the natural conclusion that I must not have the power my dyno shows afterall. Weird that the car feels stronger then, but i dunno, a 20-40tq difference must be a placebo effect and maybe my butt-dyno is THAT far off
if Booger spins his tires at 1/3 throttle at 420whp with the 3.5 final drive and 2.264 2nd gear ratio for his 2nd gear coming out to a total 2nd gear multiplier of 8.01, I suppose that'd mean since my 2nd gear multiplier ratio is 9.103, that I must have something like 370-380whp if I can give my car full throttle in 2nd?
Does that make sense given my mod list?
Could GTM's dyno really be almost 100whp off?
I dunno, that doesn't sound quite right
...so out of curiosity and despite that no one has my exact tires, LSD, camber etc, what power do the nay-sayers think I have as far as power?

Guys it certainly not out of the realm of possibility. If i remember correctly there have been a few 450whp+ Vortech dynos posted on this forum.
I know this is comming from the lowely maxima world
but i have seen a vortech 3.5L w/o VCT put down around 420whp. You have to give it to sentry, he has a VERY complete setup.
BTW I'll say 450whp
