vortech FAQ: read this before asking vortech questions
Gentlemen I have a question regarding my next upgrade. What would you recommend? I want to make more power of course, but I want to do it safely. Very safely. I was considering a water/meth kit OR maybe some nismo headers. But, after reading as much as I have I am now considering maybe a UTEC and a return fuel system may be the better investment. The safer route. Was also considering the T-Trim blower. Saw one go on ebay the other day for 700$ Any advice would be great. Thankx in advance
My current mods are as follows:
Vortech Supercharger 10-12 psi (2.87 pulley)

550cc injectors
Walbro fuel pump
Motordyne plenum spacer
GTM spec ECU flash
Stock exhaust manifold
Stillen high flow cats
Stillen dual exhaust
Stillen lightweight aluminum flywheel
ACT heavy duty PP & 6 puck disc
No

those injectors arent going to get u far.
the stock one is can only meter x amount of air. depending on your setup, they might be pushing too much air thru and maxing it out, and obviously if its maxed out, you cant tune anymore....
but none of that matters if you are not using a reflash.

Well these 550's should be ok up to 500hp I believe. Which is my target. Also, is it possible to make 500hp without upgrading to a T-trim? Sentry is making 480hp 383tq at 11psi without the T-trim. I wish I knew what mods he's made to his car to get such impressive #'s from a SC
550s will not get you anywhere near 500hp.
Superchargers have huge amounts of parasitic loss. I made 460/405 on a dynodynamics (~500/450 on a dynojet) and was at 100% IDC with 650s, dual pumps and full return system.
Go straight to 800cc injectors if you have a built motor and want a reliable fuel setup

head to their website. You're looking in the wrong places. It tunes WAY more than just boost and they have a model specific to 350z.

also, 550hp on a s/c is a very high goal. You're going to need quite a few mods and a lot of cash. As hp goes up it keeps getting harder and harder to get more hp with a s/c. They just aren't built for things like that. Mr.Pharm D has a t-trim and is in low 500's. I don't think you'll be in low 500's with an SC trim unless the dyno is very forgiving.

Str8 would you mind listing for me your engine mods that brought to these #'s?
quick question... i got a v2 and my drain line is running to the top of an APS High Capacity Oil Pan... is this going to flow enough? or will it get "backed up" since its gravity?
