Thankx in advance
No that's an aftermarket CAI setup. You are half way there. Remove the hose going into that pipe and put a crank case filter on it. You are going to have to plug the hole on the intake pipe or just replace the pipe. It should be easy to do. I removed the hose on my car all together and put the crank case filter on the back of the driver side valve cover.

This is the oil line you were refering to? The one that goes to the airfilter? Ok, intake tube. Same thing...

And What is it for? *shrug* Why would I want my crankcase breather going into my SC intake? Makes no sense to me

Also: What are those other 2 lines going under the blower on that pic I posted?

Thanks for the help. I'll pull that line out and cap the valve cover with a crankcase breather/filter. But I got to know what is it there for in the first place? What did vortech have in mind?

That hose used to be hooked up to the stock intake pipe. It's to relieve crank case pressure. You don't need it hooked up to your intake pipe now that you have a supercharger. They just had to give you spot for it since it was there from the factory. You do need to put a filter on the end of the hose or the valve cover to relieve the cranck case pressure and not suck in any dirt.

Any suggestions on how to clean out my intercooler of oil? Stoopid! Prev owner should of handled this long time ago (recently bought the car.)

question: On the other side I have a greddy oil catch can. Can't I do the same thing there? Just put a crankcase filter/breather on the passenger side valve cover as well, plug the vacume hose on the intake manifold and lose the oil catch can all together? Again, what's the mechanical purpose of breathing crankcase pressure back into the intake?
Seems pointless and troublesome. OR is it giving me boost? LOL : )

pour gas inside, shake, pour and repeat.

as for your question, all that is for emissions. You can plumb it however you like

wait, why did you have to remove intercooler piping to tighten your belts?

belts are tightened with 2 tools: 12mm socket and 14mm wrench.

loosen the pulley nut with teh 14mm then go under and tighten the adjuster with the 12mm socket. doesn't require removing any piping.

Question... for the v2, i was considering buying an oil pan spacer with return oil lines holes for the vortech.

should i do that? or save the money and just tap the oil pan (traditional way)?

I couldn't get my 14mm completely around the nut for the AC pulley. Started to strip. Pulled the tubing and used a socket instead. Glad I did, which alerted me to the oil blow by problem that i'm fixing.

Returning to an oil pan spacer works fine.

it's a nut on the tensioner pulley. If you removed the a/c pulley you're in for a treat later. and coming down from teh top of the car a 3/8" drive rachet with a 14mm socket on it fits in there perfectly fine. Just have to come in from the top and give it about a 1/4 turn to lossen it slightly.

between me and bigc it was a joke.

MAX: pan spacer will be fine if you do'nt want to drill. I had my stock block drilled and then this built block i use a tapped greddy pan (which will work the same as a spacer for return). Either will work fine.
