change tuners Map B is the timing map. Inputs are made based on the number of degrees you want to retard the original timing map of the car. input field of 10 means it will retard 10 degrees off the stock timing map. very simple.
If he's still confused on how to find map B it's under MAPS and at the top of the page select MAP B instead of the fuel MAP A

but is there an ssbox that doesnt have timing maps? the tuner is highly recommended and i dont want to say names until i find out if there is a ssbox that has no timings maps...mabye they made a ssbox that just does self timing and cant be adjusted manually? was told fuel maps popped up and timing did not and they tried 3 times???
edit**
vortech answered my question...they told me every ssbox everymade has timing...so its my tuner..thanks guys...

they label them map a and map b instead of fuel and timing (respectively).
Doesn't mean you have a bad tuner it just means he might not use ssbox R4 software often (or even at all). I didn't know that map B was the timing map for the longest time. If it wasn't for Oldman350z (tim) I wouldn't have known.
just call him and explain. He'll prob have you bring the car back in and check it out.

i don't even remember what my base timing map was on that thing. I thought it was pretty choked down though. If i find my original map for the box i'll see what it was. I know it was a lot less timing then after it was tuned.

I just checked and it looks like it pulls 9 degrees of timing through the entire rpm range for 12psi (what i was running for pressure).
I don't knwo if that's good or bad. I guess it depends on what the stock timing is for those rpms.
My logs showed mid teens for timing.

I just noticed the Vortech rep in here. I have a customer who's considering going to the T-trim based on what he gets out of his car with the 3.13 pulley. Could you PM me a price for the T-trim?
