well, if it's a pressure build thing then i would look at your crank venting situation. I would vent your breathers to atomosphere (catch can) so to release some pressure. If pressure is blowing the dipstick out then the lower crankcase is getting pressurized. It shouldn't have THAT much pressure in it.

Yes I did notice PCV giving out around 6psi....so I ran that vent to a catch can. capped off the line.

Just wanted to make sure there wasnt something else that I could do.

after the comp and leak down before putting this block in, I was (AM) very dissappointed. I dont drive the car daily and now I have been dropping more time and money in it than ever before. I do take her to the store once or twice a week but man.....

The more HP the more Problems.

I wonder if seafoam would be good for you now. It's something I've been meaning to do, but I keep forgetting.

I actually am all for cleaners and mixers from time to time, just not as an oil additive...my only issue is with my blower. I have V1 so my oil goes through my blower not self contained....

I guess I could disconnect then run it for a bit to clean, then reconnect after oil change, but I am always thinking about the blower more than the motor.

I just had my S rebuilt to a T trim and that two weeks killed me running NA...lol.

Id rather the car sit at my house for a month without cranking it up (but the ability too) than for 3 days at any shop regardless of how good they are.

If I drop something in there that harms my blower...im going to be double upset at my self inflicted wound! LMAO

FYI I have not ran the car on the dyno or at all since eliminatating the PCV system.

I will update as always when that time comes. Maybe that TTrim w the 2.87 on the RevUp is too much? lol

Juuuubiiiiii!!!!.... now I have misfire on my car..

at this moment I drive with stock injectors (without the vortech, waiting to get her tuned), Walbro fuel pump, TD Exhaust..
to begin with.. cel came on.. but I though, it was the new 2 x 2,5" exhaust that caused it..
few days later the car would stop, sometimes when on idle..
and today it began to smoke like steam-train..
is there anything I should be aware of?

EDIT: the codes i got was p0300 and p0430

0300 is random misfire. i don't know the other.

smoke could be from misfires and unburned fuel

Quick Question: What does your boost gauge indicate when you are at an idle? I'm at -15 psi aprox. Sometimes -17 psi depending on the weather. What does that say about my crankcase venting. Is that normal for us with Vortechs?

Only reason I ask is because my oil gets dirty relatively quick after an oil change.

my setup:
Passenger side valve cover vent runs directly to catchcan then to intake plenum. Driver side valve cover vent runs directly to my supercharger inlet. Which now is blowing by oil out my bypass valve and into my intercooler.

P0430 = Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold

It just means you catalytic converter is damaged ( or gone ) or your secondary 02 sensor is bad ( which really doesn't matter unless you care about emissions and stuff..lol ).

unless the cat failed and is blocking the pipe, which is a very common problem on forced induction on cars with cats.

Mine is usually at about -18 to -20 at idle. Don't know how normal it is though.

Today I checked with my AC on and in Drive and it went to -16. With AC off and in park it's at -20.
