yes, it pretty much easy, but they don't sell those rebuild kits. otherwise i would've done the same.

i just had a second thought, i think it's best to send it out.. because they will conducting a test on the blower when they fix everything in, which i can't perform here. and on top of that, i can ask for a warranty on their installation and products.

i received my v3 tuner kit and i'm wondering how i can see if i have a SC or SCi blower?

 

can't remember exactly, but above the serial number on the blower it should say for example: type: V3 SC

 

didn't read thru the whole thread you linked to (@work).. what was his problem with the blower?
and it doesn't mean I will end up the same place as him

 

a metal tag on the blower has all the details.

 

you should read it.. but in short, he f'ed up the blower.. lol.
