Just read sport compact for this month. It has an article on HKS V2 super charger for VQ engine. Expect around 360 whp and cost between 7000 to 9000 bucks installed.
Why would anyone ever consider buying a supercharger for the cost of a TT??
Why did you spend $30k on a Z when you could've bought a faster $28k Evo RS?
Also when you look at the old HKS kit it was accually faster than most SC & some TT kits. It didn't have the large peak numbers but its numbers were higher on the low/midrange making it a faster car.

Because an Evo RS isn't faster than a Z (especially the 06-07 models).

I find that VERY hard (or impossible) to believe. Show us traps and timeslips to substantiate that wild claim. It's certainly no roots blower.
The HKS sticker on the side obviously makes it faster and worth twice as much as it's worth.

A base 350z, is cheaper and faster than an Evo.
Ive never seen an HKS sc kit, supporting anything that your claiming. When I look at the HP, 1/4 registry, I dont see HKS in there!
Some people just want the peace of mind that usually comes with such a reputable company such as HKS. Not everyone wants masses of raw power, that require an extra 10 grand in supporting mods and engine builds. Not everyone can go to their local shop and get it tuned every couple of months. Sometimes people just want something that's easy to bolt on and retains fantastic drivability. 360whp equates to about 420 crank, that's on par with most ferraris and porches on the street. That will do me just fine.
