Ok that actually came out wrong. I've never actually seen you give misinformation like alot of folks on here do but Its just the way it comes out sometimes that I don't agree with.

Ok guys need some help. I was thinking about going built motor in the next month but It ended up being a little to rich for my blood after all the hidden costs right now. We'll see about christmas time if the boss is feeling generous on bonuses (I already have to buy a F ucking engagement ring
). Anyway so for right now I was hoping you guys could give me some ideas on where to best put to use about 3g's give or take 500 bux

Some more bad news about the new intercooler. It seems that the new intercooler is going to be an UPGRADE to the current kit with the current intercooler. Much like the upgrade to a larger turbo, this will be an option that'll bump up the price of the kit.
The other bad news about it is that there's only 2 prototypes made so far, and he's not 100% sure it'll fit right in without any fabrication.
I'm looking into just getting the kit with no intercooler at all and find myself a better one like athenG did. I suggest you keep the IC you got for cheap athen, as the STS intercoolers seem to be their weakness.
Comparing the current intercooler with the ARC one you got for cheap, how's the difference in size... inlet + outlet... etc? How much fabrication will it take?

PE ARC IC I got has 22.3" (W) x 10.3" (H) x 2.5" (D) and inlet is around 2.75". I'm going to look for the link but you can get some brand new Bar/Plate FMIC for around 250-400 and if you want brand name (Spearco..) it will be 800+.

so what would be the advantage of a spearco over the ones your looking at? I messed around with trying to tune out the pressure drop through my AVC-R but if you get it right in 3rd gear it wont be right in fourth because the pressure drop is at different rpms in third and fourth (at least for me)

. That is why they are doing an upgrade already or rumor said they are doing an upgrade

I ask MIAPLAYA about the effeciency rate of the 60 trim and this is what he wrote (STS also said the same thing)
"A T04E 60 trim compressor has a max flow of 50 lb/min or roughly 500 HP. The actual amount you see to the wheels will depend largely on other factors but I wouldn't expect to see much more then 450 MAX on this compressor set up. Peak pressure within the efficiency island is about 26 PSI however the 50 lb/min of max flow is found at about 20.5 PSI. Going above that won't net you anything but hot air."

I have yet to hear back how much Rick's willing to drop off the price on the kit with no intercooler. From one of their sales reps (Chris, South East), their crap intercooler ~$799... so if Rick's willing to drop 400 off the price of the kit to include no IC I'd be happy.
