Don't know if it's still offered, but yes. They offered a tuner kit with: coated exhaust piping (turbo manifold), the turbo, oil lines and oil pump... can't exactly... ah found it:

It's up to you to provide injectors, UTEC, intercooler and intake piping, and Walbro 255 lph fuel pump.
That was a few months ago though... that's what they told me when I called them directly.

don't know if I'm gonna go with a prebuilt shortblock or just buy the internals and have my motor built with those though

Sorry i havent posted guys...didnt see this thread

This turbo kit is like any other turbo kit...it produces boost...plain and simple. So asking a question like how long it will last is just stupid...
I have added more than 10,000 miles on my car and i have zero issues...I make more than 350rwhp also...there is another sts 350z owner with a manual trans that just left the shop a couple weeks ago. He was from idaho...hopefully he finds the forum here soon and gets to chime in also.
I am very satisfied with my Z...the only thing i would change is taking out my Fidanza flywheel and putting the stock one back on. This kit can make as much boost as your turbo/motor can handle. I was at 10 psi with a 60:1 turbo....i was MOVING....but that was only on the highway. now i am at 6.5 psi and i plan on turning it up to 11 psi in a week or two.

I'm a huge skeptic, and I've always liked the idea. Besides, I'm only now coming up on 1000 miles on the built motor. I've read and read and read into the rear-mount turbos, not just on 350Z's. I've called STS a few times, I've talked with a couple shops... sorry if I'm still debating on whether or not to go this route. I do have headers, so this will allow me to keep 'em

If you don't want me in STS threads, then just tell me. I'm still gonna be in them though Who knows, maybe I'll start contributing with owner experience soon?

only thing i dont like about the kit is how/ where its mounted. If someone rearends you there could be serious damage and give me 5 minutes with a battery sawza and i got your turbo

Same as you doing a head-on collission with TN... (FMIC and Turbo) can be damaged

I'm tired of answering this so I'll just post my same answer from the other thread

My car is always in a Garage and I don't park in questionable areas. If I do park there then my turbo is the last thing I'm worried about coz they can steal your wheels, Sound System (If you have one) or just tow your car. A turbo is cheaper than any after market wheel/tire out there (maybe not the garbage one ) also the only way they will see the turbo is if they really get down and take a peak coz the turbo is way up and it is not easily seen.

Umm, give just about any halfway decent car thief 2 minutes or less and they can steal your whole car.

The theft of rear-mount turbo argument is idiotic.

I know everyone uses all these stupid excuses about it being in the rear but STS has been doing rear mount turbos for a couple years I am sure they know what they are doing.

+1 whats the estimated power potential? I know TN kits were all said to have potential up to 500 or 500+whp if built but we now know thats not true. BTW-thats NOT A BASH on TN kits before certain individuals start an OT flame war...

I just wish someone would try a built Turbonetics ST with cams. I'm thinking Red Hot Z might be...

Anyway, I'd be interested in seeing how much the STS kit can put down without running out of breath.

I love the sound. I'd love to see about doing a custom TT STS setup.

I was considering an STS, but they dont seem to reach my hp goal of 450-500. Id like to see someone with an STS make that much power, then id reconsider.

Nobody has even attempted to get there yet. It should have no problem getting near there.

Like abyss said I am sure it can be done but this kit is fairly new. So the owners of this kit are still in the process of figuring out what works best with it.
