Just FYI, Rear-Mount has to be really warmed up before you get its max potential so take that into consideration when tuning. After the Turbo has broken-in in a few thousand miles, the turbo will respond better and sound will also be better

I will take that into consideration.

DJ, I am running the AEM Uego wideband right now. In the Wideband shootout it did pretty well so I figured it would work just fine for my low HP goals.

I was thinking of doing the IC+TP at the same time with a new Tune but that will not show how the IC helped. I'm going to have to see what is the most economical way to see both changes, I don't think there is any but do them all separately.

We are at the same power levels. I made 364whp and 360tq but I was bone stock other than a clutch and flywheel. I am getting retuned in two weeks and I have test pipes Y pipe and a spacer so well see what kind of power I make

what have you guys been using for a boost controller? I am thinking about going with the Utech solenoid... but SGP sounded a little iffy about it.

I use the Utec BCS and it work fine for me. It is cheap and work well with Utec so I can't complain. Great thing is that your Map/boost is one flip away.

I'm using the Apexi AVC-R EBC but wish i would've went with the HKS unit. The manual boost controller does fine but a few of us have experienced boost pressure drops at higher rpms's with this kit

Did the stand along boost controller eliminate your pressure drops? I read your thread about this. It seemed like you were still playing around with it.

Did you install the BCS? If so how hard did you find it to set up? (If I go this route I would rather not pay SGP for an install that I can do)

I believe both athenG's setup and my own were completed with the UTEC BCS by MRC Motorsports before either of us took original delivery.

You dont need to go electronic...I am using the Turbo XS Boost Controller and it holds my boost great. i dont have any pressure drops or boost drops in the higher RPMs.
