thanks athen, but i still can't really tell how its staying put in that spot. does it just have some sort of bracket that uses the existing exhaust hangers? or is there a completely new bracket that you have to drill holes, etc. for?
im weighing my options for which way to go, either rear, or engine bay, or down below by the transmission, so, just wanna get all the info i can on this setup!

but yeah, i can see some use of the existing hangers to hold up the piping before it makes the first hard right angle on the passenger side, then another on the driver side, but i don't see anything attached to the turbo itself, I was just curious to find out if it is just floating there and held up by these brackets on the piping.

Maybe its just me but ive always thought sts was genius for the rearmount for heat issues? i would think having a turbo next to your tranny would lead to failures?
On a side note: holy crap when did sts price hike their kit? brad TheProfessional got his kit for like 3,600 new? but he had a revup and well long story short it didnt work out. I tried like hell to buy that kit but sts apparently wanted a pissed customer and to take a loss. I emailed CIN about some pricing and even messaged them through their myspace and havent heard a word? Im guessing they are out of business, or atleast dont care for mine. +1 on anyone selling their kit for a DECENT/RESONABLE price. especially with the economy in the trash and only getting worse. You guys should feel fortunate you have tuners around you. the closest one to me was SGP LOL and well not so more. so i guess forged would be the next big name?

STS turbo is in the back and not next to the Tranny, the charge pipe does run right next to the tranny though. Well STS didnt intend to run the pipe right next to the Tranny until people like me and other cars that are slammed start complaining. I live in NYC and having the charge pipe on the side is not a good idea, Goosegoose can speak from experience lol.... Most Imports are slammed and not like our Domestic counter part, STS first kit runs through the side but since majority of guys are ordering the modified piping, sts eventually eliminated the side pipe..

I installed TheProfessionals kit but couldnt get any of the piping to line up, Im guessing that is diff between the revup? that and the utec stuff? but none of the tabs even came close to bolting on. STS said they would ship him a center pipe kit but he got pissed and it went down hill from there. I was pleased on how well the kit was put together and complete. Was a lil worried about oil lines running all the way back and such but from what ive read yall havent had any problems with that.

Whats up fellow rear mount enthusiasts. Just wondering if anyone out there is building anything that was on the same scale of my original build?? My car is currently back in the shop for some extreme upgrades. Can't give away whats in the works, but i think alot of you guys will like the outcome. I'm looking for bigger numbers so my mechanic and I have come up with some interesting ideas. It will be a while until its completed since i'm in Afghanistan, but it should be done mid summer time frame.
