ForgedPerformace Greddy TT / JWT 850BB comparison Test
i have nothing to hide though. i simply just state what i did and what it took to get there. pulling up to the track and just swapping the rear tires, you will need mid 500s, thats it, with a good driver at full weight. no problem.
cant wait till more people are getting in the 10s. we need that whole top 25 there soon one day, and having 9s everyones goals!!

I agree with the mid 500hp comment to acheive 10's.
However there are alot of mid "500hp" out there, but no one has stepped up to the plate. My goal is to do that if not get very close, to 10's on my low boost (480hp), and after last nights runs I realy belive it is very possible with my skill set. The Goal for my self and I sure Bert also, is to go as fast as possible with the minimum Hp. As you stated a couple post back Hp doesnt mean crap if you cant apply it.
This is going to sound "Gay" but I guess we are all growing up now. We want to show the younger drivers out there, or new Z owner looking for HP, that you dont need massive Hp to have a fast car. You just need practice to make her go fast.
As far as my set up goes, Many forum members wanted to know why I went this route instead of the tried and true Greddy TT.
Well I wanted to try something diffrent for my self and for the 350Z community. After last nights runs on the track, IMO I think these JWT850BB were made for the strip. It was my first time out with them, I need to adjust a few settings (like the 2 step), and I am sure 10's with under 500hp on a 3300lb car with 19"front volks is duable (well its going to be close).
Stay tune for more feed back on this kit whenit goes to the Drag strip with Bert and the boys from MD on the 21st for thier invitational drag event, and also some raod venues like Barbar Motor sport park in Alabama.
This kit (JWT 850BB TT) is avialable thru ForgedPerformance with a standard JWT intercooler or modified Greddy.

The road racing community has recognized this forever. The fast/skilled driver will turn the fastest laps....not the car with the most power.

Eagle only recently started drag racing, and he quickly went from the high 12's to high 11's on the stock block with street tires...with the same power level. Now he has his new setup...and I have no doubt, he will be going from mid 11's to mid 10's very shortly....with some more practice. No need to brag...I think we all need a little piece of humble pie from time to time.
