Yea an 10 lb pulley is what I was told by HKS. It's going be just like most tuner kits.

I wonder how having hfc/tp/l spec ts reflash would possibly "damage" the complete kit setup...
and why would running another aftermarket exhaust besides hks void the warranty? wtf?

Nice info.
I think the fact that you can run the HKS headers, and the HKS cat back exhaust, means you can pretty much run any exhaust or headers you want. HKS are only covering there a$$. They've only tested with there stuff, so it make sense that they will only give you a warranty if you stick to there stuff. I don't think it means it wont work.
What i'm not sure about is how a reflash may affect it. I'm sure it must be that the tune that comes with the complete kit relies on a set base map that would come with the stock ecu.

I think the warranty refers to this, not a aftermarket exhaust

GT Supercharger Unit - Intercooler - Injectors - Fuel Pump - Piggy Back ECU -
Supercharger Bracket - Pulley, Belt - Super Power Flow - Suction Pipe - Chamber Pipe -
Relief Valve - Traction Oil Cooler - Traction Oil Tank - Traction Oil.

nice work cdoxp.

rev2red--I imagine a L-spec TS reflash wouldn't present much of a problem (i hope) considering it only eliminates speed limiter, raises redline, and open valves 100% instead of 80%--but dunno... A f-spec flash would likely run into problems with the HKS piggyback I think.

I know it would not be cost effective to do so, but given the gt sc only comes with a 1 year warranty, wouldn't is be possible to buy the complete kit, and then later on, upgrade the ems and fuel systems to give it the same potential as the pro kit? The blower would be the same, but perhaps a different pulley no?

Im sure that very possible, just not cost effective as you say.
I think the reflash shouldn't be a problem, as long as it hasn't changed fuelling and ignition timing. If it's just like you said above, you shouldn't have to worry.

Hmmm, I wonder is the Prokit will feature another intercooler as well since the small liquid one on the regular kit may not work well enough with the extra HP of the prokit*shrugs*

To bad HKSusa has no solid release date so we can get all the info...

Yea, I picked up that mag a couple of weeks ago (and its now the "new" issue--as their is a newer issue on stands)--this was some of the info I was using when "arguing" with helldorado on the difference b/w the rotrex and the hks gt--We both lost our tempers--it was stupid--but that thread has some useful info--helldorado knows his stuff:

https://my350z.com/forum/forced-induction/317026-hks-rotrex-vs-vortech-2.html

Dsport #60 only mentions the complete kit. Some diagrams and pictures and some interview questions. That's all.
