I am sure many members would be disappointed very if they took thier 500+ car to the track and not run 11's. I am sorry but this "list" holds no value.

IMO these are the highest HP / fastest Z's

1. Bldrz -------------- 04 TH350 Base -- 50 shot --- (Built) Greddy TT 10.375 @ 132.41mph 1.567 60ft Slicks
2. AudibleMayhem ------ 03 TH400 Tour -- 100 shot -- (Built) Greddy TT 10.404 @ 134.00mph 1.729 60ft Slicks
3. AJ_350z ------------ 03 6spd -Perf -------------------------- TN ST 11.036 @ 122.24mph 1.612 60ft Slicks
4. MRCMortorsports ---- 03 6spd -Tour ----------------- (Built) APS TT 11.304 @ 124.30mph 1.606 60ft DR's
5. Sharif@Forged ------ 04 6spd -Enth -------------- (Built) Greddy TT 11.470 @ 131.96mph 1.981 60ft DR's
6. BriGuymax ---------- 03 6spd -Tour ------------------------- APS TT 11.536 @ 120.80mph 1.701 60ft Slicks

9. BRING IT ----------- 03 6spd -Tour -- 35 shot ----------- Greddy TT 11.707 @ 117.83mph 1.742 60ft DR's
10. Gators2001 -------- 05 6spd -Enth ----------------- (Built) APS TT 11.815 @ 121.06mph 1.755 60ft Slicks
Those aren't the "Fastest" Z's. Those are the fastest 1/4mi times. In drag racing, tire/wheel setup and driving skill are every bit as important as how powerful the car is. You guys are confusing this comparison of raw engine power with all of the other elements combined in racing.

I GUARANTEE those aren't the most powerful or the "fastest" Z's on this site. They're just the more powerful ones that have taken the time to buy full race slick setups and practice their launching and shifting skills.

Also - trap speed does not always accurately reflect engine power. As you change the sizing and compound of the tires it will vary. It also varies depending on launching and shift points. There are actually just as many factors to achieving a trap speed as there are between dynos.

A dyno is not an exact science when it comes to comparing numbers, but these numbers aren't necessarily to compare who has the fastest complete setup, they're posted to show how far we've come in aftermarket FI modification, and the kind of power these engines are currently capable of.

OP with all due respect you should take control of your thread. If you want to start a list, layout very clear criteria and parameters for inclusion in the list. You want a top ten dyno list for 350Zs, layout the criteria such as dyno type, some standardization of such, engine setup, etc. etc.

It's already been discussed many times, it's not a top 1/4 mile drag list. Call it whatever it actually is...... dyno queen list, show queen list, drag queen list..............just not Top 10 FI Z list.

Why should there be a disclaimer? Maybe there should be a disclaimer saying "alberto is faster than all these people"?

Anyone that finds it necessary to complain about dyno numbers is just doing so because they've got an ego and hate seeing people that are "lesser" drivers higher on a list than they are. Just take it for what it's worth. It's not about ego!

Another thing - I find it funny when people bash on "dyno queens". These "dyno queens" are also the same people/shops that innovate and find ways to make power that others use for track purposes. If it weren't for these "dyno queens", the racers wouldn't be making the power they are to run those times.

....here we go

edit:
eagle... u can be part of 2 threads... one about lap times and another about whps (this one)

1 corner you can have good driver jealousy a car with more whp...and on the other a dyno queen or what ever you wanna call it with a "better" Z but to compensate for lack of skills......Bottom line... the thread is about what car has made most power....
FOr the better drivers there should be one with faster lap times...end of story

+1. Exactly what I was getting at. There's already a drag racing list in the drag forums.

I think this thread should be "Most Powerful Z's". If it's to remain FI, remove the N2O and 1/4mi times, and update with the typical TT/ST/SC categories. If you'd like you can break it down into Centrifugal/Roots blowers as well. If you want to put N2O times in it, move it to the main Engine forum.

The same thing can be said about the top 1/4 mile times thread. So many different tracks, climate, conditions, track preps, trannies, DR's, slicks, street tires, etc.

I could care less. I probably won't end up on this list and since I don't go to the track I guarantee, I will never end up in that list either.

Just because a car gets high numbers on a dyno and never gets tracked doesn't mean it's a dyno queen. Every time I get in my car I take it past 130mph (on a closed road of course ) I don't 1/4 mile race my car at the track, but it definately gets driven the way it was built to run.

OK, what is everyone’s beef here... Despite what everyone is moaning about, the OP's original intent was fairly clear. Who has the highest hp cars on the boards... I am not sure why everyone wants to hijack the thread and start making 1/4 -vs- Dyno queen -vs- track comparisons.

Leave it alone folks. If you don't like the concept of a high HP thread, start your own thread.

To the OP: I suggest you cut any references to 1/4 times and stick to straight power. If you want to add or narrow down the rules for meth, NOS, or CRYO it is up to you. But keep the list based on raw power, anything else (1/4 mile, track or autocross) is going to invite bickering amongst the group as to what constitutes proof of power.

Now that that is out of the way, I resent people calling those cars dyno queens. I know those cars at the top of the list are driven, if not every day, at every possible chance.
I will agree that most of us have multiple maps and we do not necessarily run those WHP # on the street for daily driving. I am also sure that most of those on the list were done on some type of race gas C16 or whatever. BUT they did hit those #’s so leave it at that.

Keep in mind that dyno’s are only a tool for analyzing how much torque and estimate hp a car makes. Nothing is perfect and varying conditions will always be part of the equation. No 2 runs are ever exactly alike.

What’s is everyone’s beef here Jealously? Hoe about everyone accept their cars for what they are and leave it at that. No one is going to have the best, because there will ALWAYS be someone better that you have not heard of or someone that is aiming to take you down. Enjoy your cars people.

This thread is about whp power, leave it at that. If you want to run yours on a ¼, run a time attack or do an autocross. That is fine, each has it’s setup, driving training, and nuances… Keep it out of a whp thread.

Please refrain from posting BS towards me until you have a car thats tuned and actually running 100% Dont go trying to read into $hit on why Im posting my OPINION on something, seems like you have your own issues Worry about spooling before 5000rpm (with no nitrous) and running better than mid 12's.

Let me go dyno at 5000ft, then add 30% correction magically put down 700whp and claim top 10-BS!

edit-you guys are all tripping if you think myself or eagle are jealous of any of those cars, I ENJOY my car and thats all that matters....whats with all the Dr Phils on this forum?

Bam has a good point..

To the OP, take CHARGE or just delete it because your dropping the ball hard.. Like I stated before.. There shouldnt be any cars on the list with claims, there should be an attached/linked NO BS dyno to the post.. To avoid bs.. Otherwise this thread is gay..

Real mature... According to your new forum rule you should stop posting I guess, as your car isn't "100%". It doesn't take Dr Phil to see that you sometimes let your ego speak for you.

Anyway, Bambam said it well. Maybe you should address him too.
