Default 601whp/603trq at 18psi

Well, I finally got back CarVersion 2 to get the 18psi tune taken care of. After 5 hours of careful tuning, we were able to extract 601whp and 603trq at 18psi on normal 93 octane, which is readily avaliable in our area. No meth injection, octane boosters or anything like that. Props to James Cusack and Jay Kang for spending all that time to make sure the tune was as clean as possible. I went back today so James and Gerry could drive the car around for a street tune session for a couple of hours. The dyno graph depicts the last run of the night(590whp/603trq) vs. my 15psi run(553whp/550trq). We had 2 runs an hour prior that were 601.4 and 601, but after tuning for so long the car was definately heat soaked. I havent had a chance to drive the car on the 18psi tune because today is my birthday and my girl took me out to dinner. Also, I included a couple shots of the g-wagon and engine. I'll update the thread later on with my driving impressions. For those that think that the UTEC cant handle over 550whp, enjoy!

Congrats, awesome numbers. 18 psi on the greddy kit is a ton of boost for pump gas!!

oh, and image code > url links

edit:
Saw your comment about the utec. I don't think people say the utec can't handle those power levels, just that the Fcon's resolution handles it more smoothly

Congrats, those are great numbers. Your paint job looks immaculate. I wish mine looked that glossy. I need to repaint mine, it's really bad.

Very nice! Breaking the 600whp mark on pump gas is awesome. I'd love to do the same some day!

Thanks Ziv, but can you explain to me how to do an image code please? Also, I had read some people downing the utec just because the Fcon is a superior setup. For the money, the utec is a very capable unit.

Thanks Gman, when I'm not traveling all over the world(I'm a loadmaster in the AirForce), i work part time at a detail shop in my hometown. My boss is a wizard at buffing and compounding black cars.

I would love to see your car... I am guessing YOU are the guy who gave him the ride in the newly built TT G that scared the crap out of him (and made him want to get a built motor to turn up the boost!)

gotta come up!

Yeah, that was me! Harrys only a short block and some minor mods away from some crazy power. I'd love to see him do that rather than buy a cookie cutter z06 or something.
