Tom as you can see, there wasn't an inquisition going on with out no proof.
I guess it should be clear now and as you said... we can not start flaming like did to VRT .

I too gave Scott some room when he "restarted" in this forum as RA, but unfortunately the same "mistakes", stories, inability to show proof(which is all many asked), inconsistencies, and lies are coming up. The whole thing with their shop...i mean they should be open about where they work period....not lie about it like they have, and saying one thing and then back tracking, or having "their cronies" defend for him.
The evidence is there, and philty, regardless of what you consider his motivation is, is coming with evidence time after time that they cant even come up with an excuse anymore. The cronies probably had their work done there only and its the only aftermarket work they have ever had on a car, so they feel that attachment, but they really should consider themselves lucky that they did not end up being a "dechant" or a "mmc racing".

Just for the record, because I know it keeps Scott up at night, my motivation for exposing RA was to raise the awareness level...

If they were legit, then time and evidence would have supported their claims... I've really only took issue with two shops on this board, VRT & RA (MRC was always a love/hate -but now I'm really fond of Julian & his feelings for me are of mutual respect!).

I've spent thousands of dollars throughout my life time on shops/people that talked a good game but were nothing but posers and lairs... My ONLY motivation was to prevent people (on this board and in general) that work hard for their $$ not go through the same lessons that I've gone through...

When I retire, I'm going to donate my time completely to public service!

We truly appreciate what you are doing. I call it *NOOB Protection* (Trademarked). When you retire...will you pass the torch to Doug? Doug is good at waking up the "Dreamers" ...He hates the "I am going FI in the future crowd"

some people eat n00bs for breakfast... specially the ones that post "Hey what turbo kit do i need to buy to make me an 8second Z"

Since someone has nothing but to start with the name calling... and keeps asking for a phone call
here you go..your phone call:

<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/CJwEQFsGx8Q&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/CJwEQFsGx8Q&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
(nws just for audio)

OOOOH< someone is ****ed!

what a mess. even if it wasn't Scott's parts, he is responsible for what he posts.

a deal is not a deal man, get your money back!

I think you have handled the pounding well enough, it obviously isn't my place to jump on them for that

But I will be watching and questioning thier statements pretty heavily.

edit (so to not make a fourth post in a row):
thanks to Romey for linking me to Phunk's post. This fell off the main page and I have been swamped at work and at home so this is the first chance I had to navigate the subforums to find this since it wasn't on any of the recent post pages. (and sorry for the lack of multiquote) I am glad to see that it was able to be verified one way or the other. pitiful it turned out to be verified that it is NOT a CJM kit.

Does this thread concern Mark B. and Mother's garage? Last i emailed JWT for questions on TT setup they recommend him. Or should I read this thread and be wary now?

if you're too lazy to read the whole thread, try going back about 5 pages to page 12ish....

Mark B is a very knowledgeable Mechanic with an excellent work ethic. You will be in safe hands.

Did you miss the posts in this thread about the sh*tty work Mark did on Derek's motor???

His car is at PrecisionZ getting fixed now because of Mark's less than "excellent work ethic."
