Yeah, Turbo Trix is making very steady progress. Today I just dropped off the last component of my Meth Kit. They promised me the car for this Friday.
I can't wait to get my car back. Just 2 more days.
I will then have to skillfully maneuver my way home while avoiding as many anxious NYPD Highway Cops as I can. That will be interesting. J/K

Look out for the NYPD highway Patrol that looks like an NYC Yelloow Cab, in Staten Island on the expressway to the outer Bridge..

 

Mines has gotten me out of a few tickets on the Cross Bronx and L.I.E.!

 

Thats paramedic buddy...hence the name ZMedic...
Anyway, we do get shields but when a cop pulls u over in a Beautiful Z I think the 'hater' factor often outweighs the benefit of my measley shield. Not that it stops me from trying...

Lol~ I'm in the process of putting together a built crate motor from the same place you got yours~ Modding this damn car has me living paycheck to paycheck! But it's the most fun I've had in a long while. :-)

 

thats very nice ... how much did you raise the boost on that btw?
I was wondered what you actually gained at the same boost leves, just by the timing changes meth allows you to do....

 

Until I can install the 1 bar wastegate springs, i am already pushing the limit of my Boost Solenoid (80% right now), so the meth tune may have to wait a bit.
But that is great news. Thats the only way I think i can go much higher at this point. So I think I am going to pick up the car right now and drive it around for a week or 2 and see how it feels before I go over the edge with 6?? hp.
Right now I am at 15psi and 530 rwhp. I haven't been in a boosted car in over 1 year so I kind of have to learn how to drive all over again.
I will give some feedback once I get some seat-time.

When you pick it up come directly to my shop for a comparison Dyno..Im curious to see how my dyno reads compared to their DJ.

You will either want to perpetually upgrade parts for more power or else you will simply have to spend countless hours maintaining it...but either way its a life long commitment. And oh yeah, its still fun! Lots and lots of FUN!!!

Zoni went from 13psi and NO Meth (575rwhp) to 17psi w/Meth (648 rwhp).

I would love to know what 17 psi w/o Meth vs. 17 psi w/Meth would yield.

Well I dont like running past 15 psi on pump gas with no additives. I take a more responsible approach to my tuning, focused on drivability and longevity over squeesing a few extra HP out of it....

INHO pump gas is wat to unpredictable to play games with someones expensive motor, so I can swing my cack around in a measuring contest.
