Talked to MAC today (last night for me). I should have a price on everything by Wednesday. Bill is also going to price me on the StopTech kit. Here are my specs for the brake kit;
- 14" (355mm) ST-40 4-Pot Front
- 13" (328mm) ST-22 2-Pot Rear
- Front & Rear Silver Calipers
- Slotted & Zinc Coated Rotors w/ Black Hubs

I'm ready to get this done!!! April isn't coming fast enough!!!

The ST-22 is a 2 piston.

Otherwise, thats exactly the setup I have, and you know I am very happy with it.

Robert..that is the kit i want for my 07 when JWT comes out with a compatible TT. I may have missed this and if so i apologize. What are your goals for your car as far as power?

Good luck with your thread. And continue keeping us up to date.

Thanks Dave. That a typing error I fixed. And I'm doing the same set-up from you, David M, Will, & Gary's input. I wanted the 6 & 4 pot set-up but pad selection is a concerned. So give up a little bilng for more options.

Honestly I'm hearing so many different power number for my Z w/ my mod. Hopefully I'll be around 400whp (DynoJet Corrected) on the stock wastegate's boost (6.8lbs). Honestly no idea with the 9lbs track map/boost I'll run. Maybe 430+.

When it comes to boosting these cars, it isn't like N/A modding where you are stuck with the 6.2 hp gain from installing your intake, plenum spacer, exhaust, pulleys, and grounding kit. You merely tell your tuner what HP you want and most likely he will get you there.. obviously within reason. It is a factor of how hard you want to push the stock block. 400 whp should be no big deal on a TT setup, and if you wanted to push to 430 whp, again, no big deal. I don't think it is corret to have a HP "goal" with a setup like we are discussing here; more so, a desired HP. It is just a matter of the tuner turning the boost up another .5 lb or so to get the number you desire.

For what it is worth, on a stock block, I wouldn't push the motor past 400 whp. For the small increase in power to push to 420-430, it isn't worth the stress on the motor IMHO

Ziv,
I have read quite a few of your threads and you seem VERY knowledgeable with what you put out there, so for the sake of my learning (sorry Robert, i dont mean to hijack your thread ) I seem to be getting confused with all of the options on motor builds to support the F/I. What is the next logical evolution once you have the kit, use it for a "x" amount of time on your stock block and want to get, say another 50-100 hp..? i know building up the internals in the block, but to what extent? At what point does it become overkill for another 100hp??

Thanks ... sorry Robert for going OT

I have the 4 pot front and rear, and IMO the 4 pot rear is over kill on the track! A 4 and 2 pot is the way to go!
