UTEC Molex: what are pin 11/12
So according to the manual:
Pin 1 Ground
Pin 2 Boost Control Solenoid Output
Pin 3 Knock Light
and pPin 4 Ground
Pin 5 Remote Map Switch bit-3/Clutch Switch
Pin 6 Remote Map Switch bit-2
Pin 7 Spare Solenoid 1
Pin 8 Shift Light Output
Pin 9 Spare Solenoid 2
Pin 10 +12V Output
Pin 11 Remote Map Switch bit-1
Pin 12 Remote Map Switch bit-0
Does this mean with a trigger you can get the Utec to switch maps, say like a trigger from a water/methanol injection low level sensor?
Also, they show Pin 3 as a knock light and pin9 for spare solenoid2 but it is also used a shift light?? anyone use pins 3,8,9 for sequential shift lights?

I don't think Utec accept input but you can use the spare solenoid to activate your water/Meth kit though. There is also no way for it to switch map automatically so either way it is not going to work.

There is no knock light or spare solenoid 2, but there is supposed to be a 3 signal shift light. BUT the shift light functionality is not working in firmware version 2.8. i actually went to the trouble of wiring it up, trying it, asking tech support about it - txs bench tested, and confirmed it did not work. I believe I read that the coding is BCD (binary coded decimel) for the map bits but not 100% sure...

when you add the remote map switch, it comes with a new white plug that plugs in and has wires in those spots.
what are you trying to set up??
if you are just doing a simple water meth setup, it will control it just fine...
you need to know a few secrets though that we figured out along the way if you are using version 2.8 .

the knock light output is supposed to work with an led, but you have to make your own light.
