Default I have a very thin amount of oil in the ic piping?

I took off the ic piping at the throttle body on the car to polish the outer shell and noticed a very-very thin coating off oil on the inside of the pipe.It was so thin that you could barely feel that it was oil but it is there. When i had it at functiontuned dave had the pipe off to and didnt seem concerned.......i also took off the lower pipe at the ic to see if oil was puddling and it wasnt.
Should i be concerned or is it just time to get a catch can.Since dave didnt seem concerned am i just worried about nothing.

Thanks.

You are going to get oil in the pipes, just the nature of the beast. A properly installed catch can will help, but it is not a must.

Well it is a sign of crankcase pressure increase, but a catch can will catch the oil and allow the pressure to vent, so no worries... .

Bro had the same prob, but I was losing alot of oil thru there (at the track) I run two oil catch cans and solved my problem.

Small catch can on the left (yellow and black thing)
Big Greddy on the right
