If I had a T/TT under my hood, I would have been ****ed. In Cali, you are definitely playing with fire if you have test pipes and/or are T/TT. I already know of a couple of people that got busted and one other person that is TT that is really considering going back to a Vortech because of CARB. It really sucks but it's a reality in Cali and you might be throwing away a ton of money if you go T/TT and get caught.
One of the few things I don't miss from living in San Diego

Doug, you are fcking awesome
So moving on....
Thanks for the nice comments guys, If I ever blow my stock motor on this S/C, no im not going to build and twin turbo. Im going to move on to a new car and not end up like some people that just keeps beating a dead horse and in the end, is left with empty pockets and really jaded. Hopefully untill then, I have a blast with this daily driver with little problems

i never once told you the vortech was a bad idea.. yes in the past i blatantly said Stillen was.. and rightfully so.. who would pay that much money for close to NA Performance.. however.. i think the Vortech is a great choice.. i am not telling you to go TT or ST.. the least cars running around that look like mine the better.. i'm all for choice..
my comments in this thread were to the person who felt that having a built TT is a waste because you can simply hop on a bike and get that cure for speed.. hell if that was the case.. we should all buy a Prius for daily drivers to save on gas mileage and then ride 500 whp Busa's on the weekend to cure our need for speed..
Congrats on the Vortech (no sarcasm) .. i have always been a fan of the Vortech even after my arguments with Sentry in the past.. however if you notice of my recent post towards Vortech they are all 100% positive

Its taking forever for my meth kit to come in, I hope the install goes smoothly so I can get this thing retuned already.

Congrats bro! GTM saved my Z several times already. If I was rich i would build a statue for Sam@gtm. He is an awesome guy.
Let us know how the meth goes. I have been considering it as well. Also if you don't mind me asking, what did they quote you on the meth install alone, ballpark? I'm just curious to see what it would cost in addition to buying the kit.
Hope you enjoy your new set up!
