Also, here are the links to two of JRitoli's mpg's.

One thing I noticed is that the supercharger is very LOUD! Is that normal? Will it get quieter after it's "Break-In"?

Now that a few of you have your Prochargers on, I have a aesthetics question...

Is anybody running gauges with their ATI Procharger? Just wondering, if you are, where you are mounting them. I'll probably be ordering the Procharger in a few weeks and have a factory Nav system. If I have to add any gauges, I'll be hard pressed to find a place to put them and not detract from the overall look of the interior.

Thoughts?

Most people are getting boost and EGT gauges when having the Procharger installed. The boost gauge obviously reads boost pressure and the EGT is a helpful tuning tool and safety monitor.

Mike has his gauges mounted in the center of the dash where your factory Nav system is. For those of you that have the Nav system taking up that space, the center console under the arm rest is a nice location to keep the interior looking stock and hiding the gauges. If/when we do a gauge install in that location I will post some pics to give you an idea of how it looks.

I am really excited about this mod, but its going to be a while before a can afford it...

spazpilot: 900 digrees C? My 420a powered eclipse hits about 1525 digrees F on the egt at 18 psi of boost, I think 900 C is about equal to 1525 F, but I am not sure.

So what kind of egt reading are you guys getting at WOT? How does the procharger kit get the extra fuel in to support the boost? I can't see the ecu compensating for the extra oxygen in the cyls, and rising rate fuel pressure regulators suck.

Hey Bonz, keep us posted on your install. I've heard great things about the guys at AA. I need to get my Z over there ASAP.

Actually, 900C is 1650F. I ran 900C on my EGT when I was using 110oct only in my DSM.

I don't know if anyone would know what a safe MAX temp would be in a 350 running a SC, since running FI in a 350 is so new.

Anyone know?

There's a company called Pro-Flo that makes some nice little bullet shaped housings for 2" and 3" gauges.......that would nicely match the triple gauges on our center console.........They're for motorcycles, but can be mounted on anything really.......i was gonna use their dual EGT gauge for a while there, but then i realized the maximum reading was too low for this application......but i'm still intending on using their gauge pod if i go for the EGT gauges.

click here for the Pro-Flo site

Hey Gary, when you stop in on Saturday, say Hi to my Z for me will you? It probably misses me

AA is going to try and mount my gauge in the center console to keep it stealth and stock looking. When I get the pics from Spencer (and the video), I'll post it all for you to see.

Sweet news for Paolo, and Bonz,

Jrit,
The 15k Dyno that FFP uses has Wideband O2 BUILT INTO IT,

Do you have any pics and where did you get and for how much???
AAM sold me mine for like 190 shipped!

Max temp I have seen is 700 degrees, my warning guage is set at 875. The manual says while tuning not to go over 800.
It stays around 300 400 but I haven't tracked it yet.

It's very small (the guage) and I plan on putting aboost meter beside it. I have a pic of the guage, wiring and data module in this thread somewhere but I don't want to post a final guage mounted picture until my stereo shop builds a facia for my NAV compartment to make it match the dash, then I will. Then it will look more stock than it does now. CFongrats to all, the BIG question is doug Doug sell Paolo a PLENUM now??? Or does he keep the plen stock eh? And what will Bonz hit. Everyone please post your max boost (mine was 6.2 or 6.3) your exhaust temp and your A.F! Even the 5 FMU Octets! Or is it more fun to let others figure it out? BWHAHAHAHA. J/K Doug.

When I took my car to the dyno they did dyno and A/F at the same time. The dyno was a DynoJet, and as far as I know the A/F was built right in. Of course they charge extra for the A/F measurement in addition to dyno.

Default My info

Ok, here is my ATI info.

Stock was 221.5 RWHP, ATI after dyno tuning (18 runs !) 349.6 RWHP. This is a 63% gain folks ! Stock exhaust, no plenum yet, no headers - bone stock except the supercharger. Tomorrow a CO2 intercooler chiller is being installed, then I will dyno again. Then I will get the Crawford plenum and dyno again. That will probably be within the next couple of weeks.

Guage info: I ordered an A-Pillar cover from Nissan, and I will be getting some 3 age pod a-pillar mold made for some other car and cutting and fitting it into the 350Z A-pillar, then using fiberglass and other materials a friend of mine will make it look completely factory. I will probably get an A/F guage, a fuel pressure guage, and a boost guage to put in them.

Paolo,

Where did you get that hood, how much, fiber or metal and is it functional? I mean does it let air into the engine bay? I like it. Link? Welcome to the ATI SC Club!

What was the maximum boost you achived bro? That is what I want to know. Whether the larger plenum and open exhaust lower boost pressure (thus allowing more boost later.)

Very nice, Paolo. Those are good numbers for a 100% stock setup. Keep us posted on the CO2 install. Also, I'd love to see more pics if you have them!

Default Dyno info:

My A/F ratio was between 12.8 and 13.2. Max boost achieved was right at 7.0 psi. I guess the plenum and exhaust must decrease the boost some, which is a good thing since the power is still increased. Phase 2 for me now will be to add the Crawford plenum, Borla exhaust, and Headers. After that I will go to the 9 lb pulley. I imagine that should put me at around 400 RWHP. Phase 3 will be more long term, in which even more boost will be added, different injectors, rods, pistons, etc..

Max, the hood is Veilside Version 3, it is fiberglass, and I do believe the engine stays somewhat cooler from what I can tell from it. The link for it is here
